Im owner of Realme 8 6gb ram,at least 6 months or more and i never had any issue or such thing,my device works perfectly ( photos are nice,but not perfect - this is not even good mid range device,so dont expect too much).However,sound is loud and clear,videos are clean and sharp,battery is almost perfect,OS is not laggy at all(at least for me),device finish is very premium.

Totally disappointed 1)Display issue when play HDR video and outdoor auto brightness mode display heat up like heater 2) camera quality is poor both front and back 3) audio quality problem loud speaker and head phone 4) camera night mode not working

DO NOT USE RAM expansion except very urgent, first UFS is slower than RAM chip and second because ram expansion takes the storage chip to write the cache, it means the storage chip will degrade faster since this is flash storage,
Learn About the flash storage SSD or FD TBW and end of life from Google, i had felt it when my flash disk is died and go into read only state

Realme 8 is good phone but if there is update coming the phone starts hanging and apps minimizes by itself. It happens before 4 to 5days of system update
