I got it for 2 years and also got the green line issue after the update.
So I researched this issue and its been a problem for BBK electronics the parent company for Oppo,Vivo,Oneplus,Realme and IQOO.
This will be my last smartphone purchase from Realme or any other smartphone brand from BBK electronics.

I got the green line issue on last week on the 15th April. Went to the service centre next day and they said need to wait a week. Got the phone back today and it looks ok so far. I asked what the issue was and the rep said it's the update. So they do know what the issue is but the phone is still on the same version. My worry is what if the same thing happens again?

Android Guy005, 08 Apr 2024I just got green line on my screen last Friday, luckily ser... moreI finally got to fix the green line for free after claiming from service centre, took 2 weeks for replacement screen to arrive, the fix took only one hour & then used my phone again like normal, if realme keeps focusing too much on realme midrange phones on global market, I will switch to other better brands like IQOO or OnePlus

I just got green line on my screen last Friday, luckily service centre said I can replace it for free without any charges since it's covered on special 2 year warranty for this case. As long as the screen doesn't have any signs that void warranty you can replace it for free, the problem is I need to wait 1-2 months or maybe earlier to get a replacement screen since they need to wait for the screen to arrive from China, the green line showed up suddenly when I left my phone on the table for a while, when I'm camw

PROBLEMS I HAVE WITH THIS PHONE;
dose anyone else have this issue?
1. gets extremely hot when charging
2. Phone lags in apps for example in spotify the video that plays is choppy same as Facebook videos.
3. Battery life is poor and charging it twice a day even with light usage
4.Some app notifications do not vibrate at all, even when not on silent
5.Downloaded videos watch in the native video app play like they are constantly buffering
6.Occasionally freezes when unlocking and have to hard reset
is this a common realme software issue or just related to the phone?

Disaster after updating to android 14 the mobile phone has slowed down and works terribly. Before the update, the mobile phone worked perfectly.

When i first got the phone the standby battery drain was really high I initially thought the battery was faulty, as most reviews kept praising thr battery life. Searched on google and found that it's a common issue due to the software (even though I have the global version). Tweaking the settings didn't make it any better, but debloating using ADB thankfully solved the issue.
My advice for anyone using this phone is to search for debloating guide as it will resolve the commonly reported battery drain issue
