I just bought this phone several days ago, I am coming from a midrange oppo phone (Oppo Reno 2F) For around 3.5 years

Here are some of my quick review:

Pros:
- Display is superb, large, bright, vivid, high refresh rate, it's just so good to look at it
- Rear camera performance is amazing, plus I installed google cam app (you can find it in xda dev thread), so it's an added boost
- Performance is stellar, I didn't realize my old phone was slow and laggy until I get used to this phone, it's just super fast
- Battery life is pretty good, although not the best I've seen, but it comes with a very fast charging capability, so no real issues so far.

Cons:
- Overheating issue from time to time, it's understandable since it uses the snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Chip, but I would say it gets cool enough than most other similar phone with the same chip
- Selfies are pretty washed out, not that great
- Obviously no telephoto camera / wireless charging, but tbh I don't really care about those

Other than that the build on this thing for me is a kinda normal I guess, no shiny glass back (I'm using the paper white), no curved display, etc. It doesn't look like other premium flagships out there. But my 2 cents it doesn't really matter since it will be put in a phone case anyway. The audio is just average as well, but I don't really mind.

In summary, this is an amazing phone, hopefully I will use this phone for as much as long as I could, my last flagship was Xiaomi Mi 5, I remember how a flagship phone was just really amazing and to this day I can't forget about it, so hopefully this new flagship phone of mind can live up to the expectation.

That's it for me guys, peace ✌️

The phone preformed good.but exactly after one year after a new update one green vertical line appeared on my screen.when i approached the authorised service centre.they told the server for registration is down. After three days i went to the service center again.now thy took the phone.but they told me that I will have to pay for the screen replacement even though it was not my fault. So after paying 17480 rs they are telling me that they will provide warrenty of only 30 days for the replaced display..i could have got this kind of warrenty at any local repair shop at a cheaper rate.so this is the kind of service provider by realme.
When I contacted the toll-free number of realme they told me that they are replacing the phone in a different model free of cost, but not for GT2 Pro. This kind of service is not expected from any responsibil company.

I was a regular iPhone 14/13/12/11 user and shifted to Realme rather than buying Samsung Galaxy Series.
I love these in the GT2 Pro (256GB 12GB RAM Model) and am so glad Realme is releasing such flagship killers.

              Here are My Key Takeaways:

              * Gorgeous design as the rear has a papery finish with a lovely texture and extra grip.
              * World’s First 2K Flat Display with LTPO 2.0 made me fall in love.
              * Excellent performer with Snapdragon™ 8 Gen 1 Platform processor combined with 12GB RAM is a beast.
              * Impressive, novel camera mix with 150-degree ultra-wide camera is very wide and paired with 40x micro-lens.
              * Top-tier specs and storage capacity.
              * Includes a 10V/6.5A Charging Adaptor that supports 65W SuperDart Charge, they could have provided 150W fast charging that used to ship with the Realme GT Neo 3.
              * 3 Years of Major Upgrades and 4 Year Security Upgrades are one of the key considerations.
              * Macro Camera for excellent document scanning that I use utmost.
              * Greatly appreciate the panel’s peak brightness of 1,400 nits.
              * UI/UX of Realme 4.0 is butter smooth and has plenty of options, and features compared to other competitors. Such as App locker, Child Safe, Gallery selected photos lock, secret space, etc..
              * Eco-friendly bio-based polymer back case cuts 35% of Carbon footprint rather than cutting off chargers and cables from the device, Realme chose this as a very different approach. Hats-Off and this is a great initiative compared with Apple.
              * Supported Navigation satellites are GPS/AGPS/BEIDOU/GLONASS/QZSS/GALILEO for faster fetching much more precise locations.
              * Speaker Output is more than enough for having a conference call over loudspeakers which solves my main purpose as I take few calls over loudspeakers.
              * Supports Dual 5G on both SIMs that’s really interesting.
              * Supported Bluetooth audio codecs are SBC, AAC, APTX, APTX HD, LDAC, and LHDC.
              * No More Calls drops in indoors with Ultra Wide Band HyperSmart Antenna Switching technology incorporated in the system.

Final Words - I had to choose this device after my 7 days of deep review and analysis with the market competitors.

I recently bought gt2 pro for 400 euros. The best thing I ve ever had in terms of smartphone performance, looks, feeling. The screen is gorgeous, feels very premium, I enjoy their interface, it has very fast charging and good battery life, camera performance is top notch. If you have the opportunity, try it. U won't regret it

mightyshipppp, 24 May 2023Is this still good in May 2023? I'm Considering this a... moreIt's still a really great phone and still ahead of most phones released in 2023. This phone is better than the GT Neo5 and is far better value than the overpriced GT 3 from same Realme.

For camera, Xiaomi 12T is arguably better, but both are very close. From performance tests I saw on YT, the GT2 Pro wins overall.
Elsewhere the GT2 Pro holds its ground against the very best out there.
Nothing Phone (1) is great, has best smartphone design imo but is behind elsewhere especially in performance.

You may want to look at Redmi k60 (2023).
If you game, then the Lenovo legion y70 (2022) is the better option (you will hear lots of crap about "support" not on this phone, but is one of the most underrated smartphones out there!).
I just got the GT2 Pro.
                  Good luck mate.

However, if you don't see the issue of overheating it will affect battery life (especially when playing games and using outdoor use), and don't use telephoto lenses often, it's still a good choice... Nice screen, good design, good main camera, updates supported for at least 3 years

Is this still good in May 2023? I'm Considering this as well as Asus Zenfone 9, Oneplus 10 Pro, Nothing Phone, Was going to get Pixel 7 until I found out it is Single SIM as I need access to Dual SIM and eSIMs aren't supported by many phone networks here. I'm considering Xiaomi 12T Pro and Poco F5 but I sort of feel burned from Xiaomi from issues with my current phone (Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro/Redmi K20 Pro). Samsung A54 is an option but I'm still annoyed how it is *still* a downgrade from the A52s in 2021. Anyway if anyone has any input or recommendations about phones then I would appreciate that :)

It's not the device if it overheats it's the 8 Gen 1 the problem. The CPU is a super beast, but Samsung made a mistake and the CPU begin to Trottling at high temps. The ones that not suffer this problem are the Redmagic and the Asus Rogphones with their cooling fans.
