I have been using this phone since last month. Here is my opinion about it:
* It is not a gaming phone
* Performance is excellent
* Cameras are very good
* Screen is exceptional
* Design is premium and elegant and feels good in hand
* Charging is a life changer
* Suitable for those who are looking for a smooth phone experience and daily life usage with a beautiful looking device
Disadvantage
* Loud speaker is not impressive
* Proximity sensor is just fine

One thing I noticed was even when new the phone suffered ... moreI wanted to try a phone with high refresh rate at the time. The Realme 6 was one of the phones with HRR and relatively good chipset G90T that didn't cost a lot. So, if only able to use 60Hz kinda defeat the purpose of me getting the phone. Regarding updates, I like to keep my phones as secure as possible with the latest update because I use banking and e-commerce apps every day on my phone.
I waited 4 months hoping Realme will give new updates to fix the issues and some other minor bugs like slow notifications and wifi connection not stable. But the issues and bugs never got fully fixed, only the wifi connection got fixed. That is why for me, Realme software support is not that reliable.

One thing I noticed was even when new the phone suffered from text smearing in 90Hz, so I think Realme used an average quality display panel.

Immediately after releasing this, they released the Realme GT Neo2 5G which is this but with a bigger battery (5000mAh) and faster processor (SD870), which was cheaper. They killed their own sales.

... moreI usually use my phone for at least 1 year. But I sold the Realme 6 after 6 months because of some issues. When new, the phone was quite smooth and battery life also good when not gaming. One thing I noticed was even when new the phone suffered from text smearing in 90Hz, so I think Realme used an average quality display panel.
The serious issues start appearing after about 2 months in use. Touchscreen became laggy and sometimes I need to tap few times before registering any input. Battery standby also became worse. I usually left my phone on network on with data and wifi off at night. When I woke up, the battery was 20% down after 6 hours. Previously, it was about 2 to 3% drop. The issues started after I received my first security update, so coincidence or not up to you to decide.
I sent the phone to service center to claim warranty and they held the phone for a week. Got the phone back and it performed like new for a month and then the same issues reappeared. I suspect they only factory reset the phone. Finally, I felt tired with issues still there after receiving a few updates and sold the Realme. Got myself a A52 4G as replacement.
The A52 is not problem free though. When new, it suffered from Bluetooth connection problem. But the September update fixed it already, so I am not facing any other issue yet.

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2021r u satisfied to have this device or not ???
bcuz u said i... moreSo far I satisfied with Realme GT Master.
Many products you mentioned don't come to Indonesia. Such as Sony Xperia and Mi 11 Lite 5G.
Last premium Sony Xperia phone in Indonesia was Sony Xperia Z5. After that, no more Xperia come to Indonesia. I think they had shutdown office or smartphone business on Indonesia market.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G doesn't come to Indonesia market.
While Smasung Galaxy A52s is looks good, but I dislike 25W charger and it's price is more expensive.
For recently, I love ultra high speed charger such as 65W or more than 65W.

NikiDroid, 25 Sep 2021The Samsung Galaxy A52s is have just arrived on Indonesia. ... moreYes, a little higher in price (about RM200 difference in Malaysia or 700k rupiah) but the Samsung A52S has stereo speakers, IP68 ratings, better cameras and better software support.
Samsung is giving 4 years software support to the A52 and Realme's software support is never really that reliable. I used Realme 6 for 6 months and I received security updates about once every 2 or 3 months. You can also read about how a lot of Realme phones not even receive Android 11. Now, I am using Samsung A52 4G and is getting security updates every month. And it will receive up to Android 14.
