There is now per app volume control after update RMX3357_13.1.0.144(CN01). Go to settings, sound and vibrations, app-specific volume. Unfortunately if you want to do something like mute a youtube video and play something else in background the youtube video still pauses. You need an app that supports simultaneous audio playback. Most games do this and some music players do.

someone on 4pda created this "global" rom (they call it indian rom for some reason?), google it you want
there's no global rom per se, it's some sort of a custom port from other realme device with global firmware
because of that it cannot be updated. its android 11 and some say it has worse battery life than chinese rom. but it has all the global features working such as google assistant and google location history
