Everything was in English once I set the language and I just put the Chinese apps into a folder and never bothered with them. I live in a large city so I never had issues with the WiFi bands.
The phone hasn't come yet so I'm not sure about the widevine level, as far as Play safe and voLTE, you will need to do some research.
Maybe you should take a look at the Poco F5, I think Xiaomi will cover those Bands. The Poco F5 might be the safer option for you. 👍

I live in a rural area where B20 is very common, so that's a bit of a drawback for me. Related to Chinese ROM, does it have problems with Widevine, Play Protect and VoLTE? Sorry for all these questions but I just gotta be sure about everything before buying. Thank you in advance and sorry for my English

Ganz, 16 Jul 2023I also bought it, I have already paid for my countries impo... moreHello, I think that opening the boot loader has something to do with rooting the phone. I don't think I need to root my device so everything should be ok. Where did you buy your phone and how much did it cost?
The seller should have put a lower value on the invoice, it might have helped you to avoid paying the import tax.
I also brought this phone instead of the Poco F5, The Poco F5 has a better camera and possibly has better speakers, but has smaller screen, smaller battery and slower charging speed. infact, if I was going to spend more money I would have purchased the Realme GT neo 5 150w instead. I think the GT 5 se might be the best phone right now when you compare price to performance 👍

Mauritiusbleu, 14 Jul 2023I think Realme cell phone store and Realme dream store are ... moreI also bought it, I have already paid for my countries importing taxes and am currently waiting for the post office to send it to me, what can take up to 2 weeks - lots of people importing here in Brazil for the past 2 weeks.
Anyhow, I've read - over at realme's official forums - that they haven't reopened their oficial bootloader and that it has been closed for about 3 months, if not more.
I'm not quite sure what that's fort, nevertheless, one can argue and expect that, if they are display such a problem with a service of them, that can also happen regarding OS updates.
I've read something regarding that recently, comparing that software aspect to Poco F5, though, I also bought Neo 5se as it was cheaper with pretty much the same specs as Poco F5.
I hope the OS/software aspect of the phone isn't a major letdown.

I brought my phone from Realme dream store. Both stores have gold ratings, and great reviews from a lot of satisfied customers. Also, both of these stores ship the phone in 24 hours.
Realme dream store was very helpful and answered all my questions. I live in the UK and this is the 4th phone that I have purchased from China with the Chinese Rom. I've had the Xiaomi mi max 1, Huawei Honor note 8 and my current phone is the Huawei honor note 10. I've never had a problem, infact, all the phones have been fantastic, and very cheap. I had a store discount and an AliExpress discount combined. Even though the discount period is over you can still get the 8gb 256g version for a very low price. It's £236 for the black model and £232 for the blue model. Another seller has the blue model for £229, that's the total price including free shipping. The same seller also has the Neo GT 5 for £289 for the 8g 256gb 150w version. I would get the 150w version because it has a bigger battery and will fully charge in about 20 mins
You might be able to also find a discount code on Google and get it even cheaper but at £229 - £236 for the neo GT5 se is super cheap for the power of the phone, size of the battery, fast charging and oled screen.

It has a bigger battery, larger screen, 100w fast charger and snapdragon 7 gen 2. I don't think you can find a better phone at this price. The neo GT 5 is maybe a bit better as you get OIS with the main camera and even faster charging. If you want Xiaomi, get the Poco F5. But I think the realme neo GT 5 and 5se are the best phones for the money. I would by the Realme neo 5 instead of the Poco F5 because it's cheaper and has more value for money

I've just purchased this amazing phone and I'm waiting for it to arrive. I brought the 16gb ram with 256gb storage. I decided to buy the neo GT 5se, instead of the Neo GT 5. I wanted the bigger battery, and the Snapdragon 7 gen 2 has fantastic reviews. I paid £216 for the phone and I'm totally excited. I can't believe how cheap it was. :)
