Realme celebrates 200 million shipped smartphones

The journey of Realme began in May 2018 when Oppo launched the Realme 1 smartphone. After that, the brand continued its life in the smartphone market in its own semi-independent way, and today, it marked a major milestone.

Realme reached 200 million shipments in just over five years, announced Sky Li, founder of Realme. Quick math reveals this is over 40 million per year, keeping in mind the relatively slow first year of sales.

Realme is popular with fans for its affordable devices with features that are way above the price segment. One of the most beloved devices on the market right now is the Realme 11 Pro – unique design, lovely screen and super fast charging for under €300.

The 11 Pro lineup is the latest in what is an extremely popular number series in which customers always preferred the Pro solution. However, the company is also launching mighty flagships, and we expect the upcoming GT5 Pro to wow fans with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and the promise of “new era of low-light telephoto imagery”, courtesy of a 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor behind a periscope telephoto lens.
