Current Phone - Narzo 30 Pro 5G (2 months)
Previous Phone - Honor View 20 (2 years)
Broke my View 20 screen and had to buy a new phone as screen on 2 year old 'flagship' cost 9k INR. So bought a midranger with exchange instead.
I understand its foolishness to compare these phones with flagships. But here are a few pros and cons -
1. Best pro is the screen. Super bright, very fast. Much better than the View 20 especially in daylight.
2. Adequate performance for my needs, which is a lot of browsing, emails, videos and games all the while on Airtel 4G. Games played - MCOC, Asphalt, New PUBG. The older phone is still a bit faster after 2 years, but this one is no slouch either.
3. Battery life and charging speeds really good. Does not heat up even while 30W charging and playing at the same time.
4. Plastic build but tougher than I expected. Phone has considerable weight too.
5. Realme UI is as good as Magic OS. All the expected features present, minimal and uninstallable bloatware. No Ads.
6. Camera is better than expected. Better than the view 20's 48MP. Especially the software of the camera much better than bloated Magic OS camera.
Cons -
1. Android 10 now and 2 updates means Android 12 last update for a phone which released in same year as Android 12.
2. Speaker quality below average but headphones work well with Atmos software.
So, I think this was a good buy, about 20% lower performance than a 2 year old flagship chipset but priced at half the amount and a much better screen.

Pros: 5000mah battery lasts almost 2 days, Mediatek Dimensity 800U processor, 120hz display, instant fingerprint sensor,large and crisp display,charges fast, 3.5 mm jack
Cons: Heating while video recording,average camera quality(use gcam for better results),
No AMOLED display,portrait mode not working properly, No netflix support( i had to install thru apk), no 60fps option as default in pubg(am using gfx tool to unlock that), no dual stereo speakers and 30W is a letdown from narzo 20 pro's 65W, and airtel network sometimes not work properly

That's probably not the manufacturers' problem. They created an updated version of Android 11 and most apps like Netflix's are obviously still not optimized to newly created devices unless some of you buy some, tested it and gives information to the developers and they make profit out of it. Same gist whether old and new era.
Its like creating a hovercraft and the government still has no law for it to be regulated properly. Its the same for new smartphones etc. lol 😅😆😂🤣
