Why do youtubers and GSMArena call it IPS LCD but the Flipkart page says it's TFT LCD? Can someone confirm what the display type is because it's a big difference

Not that much but noticable if you use it by yourself. Like drawing in Ibis, the G70 could handle higher res and more layer. Or by simple edit some clips on Kinemaster. Again G70 smoother playback, more layer.

IDONTKNOW, 24 Apr 2022Unisoc T616 is on par with Snapdragon 665. IMO it is good c... moreOn paper Unisoc T616 is a good SoC with performance figures same as Mediatek Helios G80. Both a built in 12nm fabrication nodes. The one advantage of T616 is that it support UFS 2.1 storage whereas with G80 you have to go with the slower eMMC 5.1.
I have the Realme Pad which G80 SoC, 4 GB LPDDR4x RAM & 64 GB eMMC 5.1 storage. It is relatively snappy and good to use with almost no pixelation issues.
The Pad Mini with 4 GB LPDDR4x RAM & 64 GB UFS 2.1 storage handling a display of lower resolution than Pad should be extremely snappy to use.
Pad Mini will be the faster tablet of the two while being hindered by pixilation issues.

Greater than 300 ppi is indistinguishable by human eye and the Pad somehow managed to make the pixelation issue manageable.
But the Pad Mini with a smaller 8.7 inches display but very low 179 ppi density will obviously have pixelation issues which can be irritating.

Got this tablet yesterday. Purchased it, mainly, to read comic books. My 10 inch tablet is way too heavy, while the 8 inch is too small that I'd have to zoom in to be able to read the text comfortably.
It has a search bar on the home screen that I can't get rid off. There's not an option to remove it, and disabling Google just removes Google as a search option but leaves the search bar there. Pretty annoying.
I installed Netflix, Hulu, D+, etc etc. All working fine. It has Widevine L1.
I can't seem to find mock locations on the developer options. Did they move or remove that setting?
Overall, it's actually pretty nice. I was expecting it to be more sluggish than it is.

I recently just bought this for my 7 year old sister for $180
(4+64 dual sim LTE), and what u can say is, the navigation feels very smooth. The display is decent, it can play 1080p content which looks good here, im not sure about netflix though, havent tried yet, the display is also very bright. Speaker is very loud, nice clarity, but dont expect super powerful bass though. I cant say much for gaming, because she have only downloaded roblox lol, but for roblox, its very smooth and almost lag-free. Battery can also last very long with its 6400 mAh supply.
Keep in mind, this tablet is meant as a budget one, dont rant irrelevant stuffs. If you wanna get a 120hz 4k hdr Oled screen, just go buy a $1000 ipad ffs, dont mess your head around this budget segment, unless youre too broke to buy one. I hate it when people compare budget specs with high-end stuffs.
Overall, this tablet feels premium to use. Worth the money.

Why Realme choice T616 instead of T618...?
This product's competitive products may be Huawei Mediapad M5/M6 lite 8.
Then, T616's GPU is too weak to beat those 8-inch tablet...
I'm So disappointed...

Specification compared with Samsung Tab A7 Lite
Realme pad mini stands out against Samsung 👏
Display: IPS LCD vs TFT LCD
Storage: 64 GB UFS 2.1 vs 32 GB EMMC
Connectivity: Dual SIM vs Single SIM
Battery : 6400 mah vs 5100 mAH
Pricing also should be similar.
We should not compare this with other expensive tabs like ipad mini
