[deleted post]There is no Malaysian restriction on any Chinese phones. Malaysia is not a market prioritized for 5G smartphones. Due to the limited supply of 5G SoCs and related components, 5G smartphones are prioritized for the domestic market first and foremost, and then for other 5G markets. 4G Chinese phones are still widely available in Malaysia. Since all the high-profile smartphones are 5G, there is a perceive low availability of those phones in all international markets including Malaysia.

It is missing the B20 band. In Europe (Netherlands) this is an important band for LTE / 4G connectivity. In the big cities this would might not be a problem, but when driving to more rural area's I don't want to lose my signal.
