The Xiaomi Mi A3 has 32 MP selfie camera and look how soft it's shots are...
Then look at the OnePlus 7 series, they take great selfies with 16 MP, but with fixed focus tho.
Also the Galaxy S10/Note 10 series take great selfies with 10 MP but they have autofocus.
