Redmi Note 7 to arrive in India on February 12 [Update: No, it won't]

Update: According to Indian sources, the invite posted by 91mobiles is fake and there is no official launch date yet.

Last week Redmi India teased a photo of senior Xiaomi executives Lei Jun and Manu Kumar Jain with the new Redmi Note 7. The tweet said the “48 MP head-turner is arriving soon”, and now we have a specific launch date to look forward to. The phone will be launched on February 12 at an event in New Delhi, India.

The invite that says “The time has come” and mentions “Redmi Smartphone Launch”, and seeing how the newly created sub-brand only has one phone it's all obvious. Lu Weibing, Redmi CEO, is already teasing the Redmi Note 7 Pro, so there might be an outside chance that it will join the vanilla version on stage too.
