Redmi Pad Pro in for review

This is the Redmi Pad Pro and it's a big-screen tablet at an affordable price (starting from around €299).

It ships with a single accessory - a USB-A to USB-C cable, but you can opt to equip it with a number of official accessories.

The first is the Redmi Pad Pro Cover - a simple but rugged cover that can stand the tablet up in landscape mode. It's not as clever as the Pro Cover for the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4, but it does the job. It costs €30.

Then there's the Redmi Pad Pro Keyboard, which has a robust and tactile keyboard that truly elevates the Redmi Pad Pro for multitasking. The keyboard case is €100.

If you want to complete the package, there's the Redmi Smart Pen. It's a very comfortable stylus to use and has two buttons at the bottom. It's €70.

The Redmi Pad Pro is a solid proposition for those, looking for a big tablet on a budget. At 12.1 inches, it's among the larger out there, and outside of the Pad 6S Pro 12.4, it's the only Hyper OS-equipped slab with such a big display.

The 16:10 screen has more than just size going for it - it's crisp at 1600x2560px, runs at 120Hz, and ramps up to 600 nits.

The Redmi Pad Pro is responsive too, coming with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip with up to 8 gigs of RAM, and we expect it will have great endurance thanks to the 10,000mAh battery. We'll test that and more in our full review!

You can draw or write on the Redmi Pad too, using the Redmi Smart Pen
