Report says Samsung Pay's India launch could happen in H1 2017

Himanshu, 17 December 2016

Just recently, Samsung's mobile payments service - Samsung Pay - arrived in Malaysia (although in beta at the moment), and now there are reports of another Asian country getting the service soon.

The country in question is India, where, reports say, the South Korean company will launch the service sometime in H1 2017. The tech giant is currently said to be testing the service in the country.

Of course, there's currently no official world on Samsung Pay's India launch, so take all this with a pinch of salt. And even if these reports are accurate to the last detail, chances of the launch getting delayed are always there, like the way it has happened in the UK.
