Revamped Gear VR surfaces, probably meant for the Galaxy Note7

Kaloyan, 06 July, 2016

A revamped model of the Samsung Gear VR is on the way as a new Zauba listing revealed. It bears the SM-R323 model, which means the headset should offer minor changes compared to its predecessors.

The first Gear VR compatible with the Galaxy Note 4 had the SM-R320 model number, then SM-R321 was for the Galaxy S6, while the latest SM-R322 is the currently selling consumer edition compatible with quite a few Galaxies.

The SM-R323 that popped on Zauba should be featuring a USB Type-C port, in order to match the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note7 phablet which is due to go official on August 2.

We are not sure if the Galaxy Note7 will indeed switch to USB Type-C port, so all we could do is speculate, of course. But given the minor change in the model number and the imminent Galaxy Note7 premiere, what else it could be, right?
