Probably the next best tablet after the ipad. In terms of hardware, software and UX i would vote for Sammy. However the content available on the istore is still unmatched. THis si not in term of the sheer number of app.. but the quality of the applications..

I am a sony fan, but you cannot deny that this is a great tablet, even greater than tablet sony xperia z tablet, the multi-window is really impressive and the same goes for the s-pen. Competition is really good for us consumers LOL.

Anonymous, 23 Oct 2013well duh! those phone/tablet you are talking about just hit... moreThat maybe a point, but I have never seen them comparing any windows/windows RT tablet anytime. 1st Surface pro can be compared after getting a price cut of $100. Obviously much greater cpu,gpu even apps and software ecosystem(Windows have much better ecosystem than even android).

Samsung is great, my 10.1 still rocks, definitely upgrading to 10.1 2014 edition.

"Flash is no longer welcome as even the stock browser has dropped support for plug-ins.", a browser that can not handle adobe flash even with todays hardware and ram... is unusable, but thanks to the free Dolphin Browser and the ability to install Adobe Flash from Adobes archives this is no problem!

AnonD-25061, 23 Oct 2013Xperia z still in the run for the best.....I think you need to remove those rose coloured glasses, compared to the Note 10.1 or even ipad air and TF701T the Xperia Tablet Z has poor screen resolution, a lot less CPU and GPU power and a lot smaller battery.
