Can you run mac os apps on your iPad? I didn't think so. Did you actually have a look at the 2520 before you commented? It also has a SD 800 chipset. Microsd, SkyDrive for more storage, built in Microsoft office. The 2520 is focused on mobility, and the screen is great for outdoor usage. Sure ms does not have 400000+ apps, because probably 5/10 of those apps wouldn't even make onto the store because of viruses and duplicate apps. Once again, I suggest you have a look at it closely before making any allegations of it being trash.

AnonD-203057, 26 Nov 2013I will buy Nokia Lumia 2520 over these two :pLumia 2520 is trash in the eyes of this 2 tablets. Its using WindowsRT: it does not have Java/Flash/Desktop/or any of those x86 programs. Worse it does not have good applications.
16:9 < 16:10 < 4:3 when it comes to landscape, other then watching video with less letterbox, its practically lousy in webbrowsing / holding / gaming.
Unless you are stuck in only using Office everyday, i rather pick these 2 tablets.

Apple products need alot of them together to see its usefulness.
Comparing one by one is always at disadvantage.
iPad + Apple TV via airplay. Or iPad + Mac + iPhone via iMessage/Facetime/iCloud
Sure there are completing similar solutions, but they are all lacking or do not work well at all.
And, iPad (iPad / iPad 2 / iPad 3/ iPad 4 ... etc etc).. once you get one, you can expect how the other one is, normal people only refer to "iPad", rarely the gen. Your software is detached from your hardware.
As for Samsung Note 10.1 2014.. well.. its just Samsung Note 10.1 2014. Next time will be another product.. and you start all over again.
IMO, if you truly need to experience Apple products, you need to buy the whole family of idevices.. but it sure to break ur wallet.

iFans alway refer Apple as exotic cars, hahahaaaa. I never see those car on sale, but I see Apple products are on sale. 10% , %15 , %20 , $50 , $100 , $150 off everywhere.

For example I can transfer up to 64GB , music , videos , pictures ....without even to use the cloud or battery of the Note 10.1.

My iPad Air is not usable with the low memory crashes with only 1GB DRAM. Safari lags too with the wavy effect when scrolling.

At this level, it's not always about who can push out more framerates. Because the difference is minimal in real use. Most people use tablets for web browsing, play videos, and simple games. It's more about how much stuff you can get done in one charge. Battery life has always been Apple's advantage.

Aside from the minor spec and performance differences, the Note owns the air hands down with it's features.
