Nokia Lumia 1520 review: Finnish fable

20 December 2013
The Nokia Lumia 1520 is just like the rest of the premium Lumia smartphones we've seen, but bigger and faster. The advanced imaging and the custom app selection by Nokia will make the difference against Android phablets...

"At almost €200 cheaper than the Nokia phablet, the Galaxy Note 3 is probably the device the Lumia 1520 should be worried about the most." where is this place, i want to buy the note 3 there :)
in india at least, lumia 1520 $30 cheaper than note 3.

ExNoKia Fan, 21 Dec 2013Pls change UI, make it dual sim, than I`ll be fan again...what are you saying!! Are you serious! This is a smartphone, and this phone don't need to be a dual sim phone. If you still need a dual sim phone then go and buy a Chinese or android phone. :P

(pardon me buddy ;D I'm just trying to troll like a Microsoft fanboy.....and the truth is wp still not supports dual sim like much needed feature, but making lame features like 1080p screen support, or another row of tiles, and those Microsoft turned Nokia fanboys loving that...still don't know in which world they're living!!!)

Just one look at the Home Screen seems to put you off buying this phone,Nokia were brilliant with Themes on Symbian,an Why?won"t Microsoft let these be put on Windows seems odd,The Tiles are very annoying indeed as my mate spent loads of time sorting them out,an Menu not easy, non removable battery is not to attract buyers,Just can"t wait to see what happens when Microsoft fully takes over Nokia,an Whats going to happen to new batch of Smartphones, and even what name are we going to get on these phones,as 2014 is going to be a Very Competitive Market,an whats Microsofts going to add on there new Smartphones,as they are going to be under more pressure than before

If note was suppose to handle only those cartoonish useless tiles, it would have given an 1000h of endurance! Note 3 is note 3. Just any 6" phone running sd800 will never match its glory!

This is an Excellent review but in Main disadvantages
"Screen has average sunlight legibility" but this is the phone which has the best Screen in the Market.
"Non-user-replaceable battery" for this i don't think its a problem because battery can be used for long long time, so its ok.
"No system-wide file manager" this is a problem but the next update will give you file manager.
"No lock screen shortcuts" this not important as far as Windows Phone notification and live times are there. I will say this is the Best Smart Phone in the market.
                                Thank You.

N1520 it seem like a solid phone. Btw can someone compare the bezel of N1520 to Sony Z ultra bezel, I think there is not much of difference, but why GSMArena and most people keep on slagging of Sony with bezel aspect only, yes large bezel is not as pretty but hey it is not a deal breaker, plus what is the bezel for Nokia phone, I want to know.
