I think we all agree to a rather balanced view that concluded the article...that event on event of importance felt should be considered by an individual for a purchase...regarding pureview my only intention is to consider the pureview weight inclusion which was not included in their statements and correct your 0.3 to 30g "sudden" conclusion!!!

I know about PurView..What's your point? I did not say anything bad or non factual about it. It was only brought in respect to their jealous fanboyism.
Again..Weight is just relative to the device and brought up by their complaining.

2.Slightly larger screen
3.Boss battery life
4.Little smoother
5.Possibly a little better under the sun
6.Thicker plastic
7.Nokia exclusive apps like maps
8.Slightly more sturdy
Samsung over Nokia
1.Imaging equal to or slightly more detail despite lacking OIS and having a smaller sensor. Better video recording. Advantages in some low light with auto options.
2.Slightly higher res all around better Amoled screen
3. Removable battery
4.Boss multi tasking
5.First 3Gb ram, usb 3.0, and 4k.
6.Slimmer more ergonomic design with a new look and feel as compared to the glassy finish that is criticized. As well as lighter. Easy mode for one handed use.
7.More functional, customizable OS/UI, with more apps.
8.More sensors and features
9.SPen and Waycom
10.Better for music playback and more video types supported. As well as high bitrate audio...Not sure if Lumia has it or not as well.

I don't think microsoft is serious about this OS.
Windows Phone is now 3 years old, right???
Android was at ICS 4.0 3 years after its first stable release.
Now compare ICS vs windows phone. Windows phone stil feels like it is taking its baby steps.
I mean it's MICROSOFT for crying out loud, is it the best they can do???

He didn't mention screen to screen...as the sole reason behind weight contribution. that is your assumption...pureview by history, its hardware is heavy weight, due to its optics, ois mechanism; evidences you could find in all of pureview camera phones of nokia( from 808...till 1520) nokia struggles in trimming its weight ....no doubt! Only 925 is an exception, but they had effective weight balance using an aluminum frame. Nokia tries to use heavier polycarbonate design for better reliability to sustain knocks (hope you will see some YouTube videos on 920 reliability tests) and still with an heavier pureview camera addition. Else I don't see reasons for heavy weight...lumia 720 and 520 are less heavy with normal optics! Only an answer to weight to screen estate!!!

I have used windows phone. I like the way OS responds and would like to use it one day if microsoft include more app support. Windows phone are the best they run smooth but as I said please more apps example (bittorrent) dont like the wptorrent

For one thing the advantages over an other are done in every single review and compare the little to big things that each have over each other. No need to be so jealous over it.
--I don't know the exact size; but function, apps, features, software, and all things do not come at nothing.
--Poly carbonate vs poly carbonate??? Unibody as in NON REMOVABLE battery. Both in my opinion are great..However Lumia uses the same glossy end Samsung is criticized for.
--The point was per size aspect the Note has a more compact ratio on top of being a little smaller. Where as some will like the 0.3inch bigger screen.
--0.3inch bigger has to equal 30grams?
--You mean 3GB on a system that is the only can utilize it and brings best and only true multi tasking on any phone? They are both well managed. One just in a more functional way.
--Again little things in comparison.
--Just like ..a little more screen realistate.
--Some people do and more will. And it's part of what gives it the absolute best in video recording and zoom.

In a nuttshell Touchwiz is the most functional feature rich UI that caters to as many different people as possible and many features in it are optional. It runs just fine. You are just a very jealous fanboy out with something to prove. You just were very unhappy with the results here.
Yes 1520 has great battery life. However Note's is still more than decent. Plus have it be removable with slim extended and 10,000mah flip cover option aid to give it equally stellar performance...
Except reality?????

Note III is older than Lumia 1520 and yet it beat it down, as usual Note series always win these battles, Note II > Lumia 1520.

Honestly neither Lumia nor Note 3 impress me.
However if I have to choose, I'll pick Note because of customization. I don't have to worry about future updates because there's large custom ROM community.
Doesn't mean I won't pick Lumia. If someone give me Lumia 1520 for free I'll gladly accept and use it daily. Yes I do.

Why did mods deleted my comment?
I just pointed out that Note3 won in "Listening to the music" mainly because lack of equalizer for Lumia.
But all Lumias have equalizer! You only have to attach headphones first and you will have it in the options. ;)
Otherwise, i think Note is still a better product.

This comparison is ... not appropriate !
You cannot compare 2 different mobiles with 2 different operating system and to say : Samsung has 3 GB RAM and Nokia 2, therefore Samsung win" !!! This is ridiculous !
Samasung NEED more than 3 Gb RAM to run the ridiculous RAM eating Android with all his lag's,and Nokia with 2 Gb RAM , quad 2.2 Gb, is paying HD movie spectacular and run super graphic HD games more faster than Samsung.Not to speak about the Android security problems !!!
For me when i was using Note 2 always couple of apps were running in the background even i kill them still starts again, and i had some money losses because 1 app which i've downloaded from G Market, was sending sms's to a tel nr, "eating" my money !!!
And i had Note 2 and Lumia 920...i choose at the end Lumia.Now i was testing Note 3 and Lumia 1520, and i choose again Lumia.And by the way ...that imitation of leather on the back of Samsung is soooo cheap, i even didn't want to touch it first time when i put my hands on it !
So please, compare similar hardware, software phones ....

Reply: I agree the Nokia should have had a phablet-oriented customization, but seriously don't tell me 700MB of bloatware are needed. Still, they are in Note 3's ROM.

Reply: What? Plastic vs another kind of plastic. At least, 1520's a unibody. Or is about the selling price? Because here where I live the launch price RRP is 729 € for the Note 3, and 699€ for the 1520.

In a nutshell: TouchWiz is a pile of bs, the most ridiculous and performance-wise castrating UI ever created. The more they praise it, the more users will jump on a custom ROM out of the box.
Windows Phone 8 is still raw, bad shaped with that never ending scrolling pile of apps and settings. If they manage to do something about it + debloat via deleting some doubled apps, it's going to be a better future for the smartphone/phablet world.
PS: with 1520 finally a decent battery life.
