After looking this hands on, I got a bittersweet thinking about this so called "android". First I got to say this would be a hell of a phone for non tech savy people. But not a very good idea for people lokking for a "customizable" UI.
anyway having options is something ok, good work nokia.

how miserable , Nokia killed its outclass Symbion . Asha series have limited internal memory , Qvga screens. Failed to gain popularity in Windows phones despite sucking MS funds. Now Android without Google???

AnonD-4697, 24 Feb 2014Wrong Nokia X Dont support sideloading. Please dont mislead... moreSo what if it is forked? It's simply Android without Google bloat/spy/ware inside. It DOES support sideloading. What's your source? You can get apps from Yandex Store, Nokia Store, 15 other stores, or put them on your card/phone and install from there. That's the whole point.

"This translates into users being able to install new applications, possibly even a launcher, on their Nokia X phone. Though Google apps may be installed via APKs, it is possible that certain apps may not work, as Nokia may have purposefully omitted some APIs which would be necessary to run Google’s apps. However, given Android’s open source nature, we believe some dev would sooner rather than later re-compile Google Apps to run on the Nokia X."

Unfortunate ... again Nokia is confusing everbody ... Half cook Droid ? Jailbroken Droid ? Or something else entirely ? Better if Nokia focus more in consistently pushing Mobile Windows thru to be a worthy contender of Google Droids throne ... I ve been a loyal Droid user ... ( thus the Googlyst nick name ) ... and honestly have been considering to try Windows Nokia ... but the "neither nor" offered by the crosdressed Nokia does not appeal me at all .... Cmon Nokia !! You can much better ..

Nokia X line will expand more, while Lumia will shrink to just few flagship phones. I can see that Nokia in future will be dominated by X lines of android phone.

Unless MS do something groundbreaking with WP9/10/above, I doubt WP market will grow any further.
