Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 review: Double vision

07 March 2014
The Samsung Galaxy Grand was the big-screened Samsung phone for the masses last season - and one that conveniently offered an extra SIM slot. It didn't go as far as the Galaxy Mega pair, stopping instead at 5-inches sharp of screen diagonal...

Why buy this if Galaxy Note 2 haS the exact same price right now and beats it just about in every single aspect? I guess it's the KitKat speaking.

One of the best dual sim android phone. I am using it for last 20 days. There is no problem. Internal memory of the phone is only 5 gb (for user) which is very less for android phone.

I don't understand why 4:3 viewfinder is a problem? No, this is the proper way. Problem is framing in AOSP photo application (i.e. Nexus 5), where you frame 4:3 photos on a 16:9 viewfinder (~15:9 considering softkeys bar, but still too wide).

Hopeless phone. Still no JB upgrade for my Grand in East Africa. I loved the phone at first but now realize that Samsung offers little support for its mid rangers or for my Geographical region. It also costs too much for the specs and support (or lack of). There are now decent options that are much cheaper. Lost my note 10.1 so I guess I'm likely to transition away from Samsung. Former Samsung number 1 fan.

HTC desire 816, the upcoming mid range phablet could give a tough competition to this!

He can think about what I said since he has his own mind. You don't have to defend him. Your not his mom/dad aren't you? Your such an immature person. What other productive words can you type here instead of being rude? Think before you type. People wont take you seriously with that attitude.

Hussami, 08 Mar 2014I told you i was having problem with htc one battery drain ... moreThat was most likely just a software problem you were experiencing with the htc one. Have you even tried to find the cause of the problem and get it fixed? And it most likely was still under warranty and any hardware defects (if any) could have been repaired for free. You could have not wasted any more money by selling the htc for less the price when you bought it and then getting this samsung phone.

Samsung !!!! Youv have made a big mistake ...
Right from the textured back and dual window and other software exquisites which are meant only for note 3 is all here in this phone and at half the price !!!!

Though camera , spen , ram and a Sooper hd screen makes it apart , note 3 has lost the battle of uniqueness. ...

Ppl will b ready to sacrifice the spen for this price ...

What the point of holding a flagship which even the cheaper versions has the same look and feel ....
