z2 is the more complete phone, the hart beat sensor can anyone get. almost. as long as you have a led on your phone. the cameras are really close, both have their weknesses. But the quality feel is the big difference. And thats were sammy fails.... again... But i am not saying anything bad about sammy, just my opinion.

I wanted to grab Z2 for myself, but after reading this review I'm having second thoughts. Disappointed by Z2's camera performance, which supposedly touted as one of the best camera phones in the world. Sony sure did a good job in rectifying some of its major issues like poor viewing angles, washed out LCD TFT displays - but yet to improve the sunlight legibility of its displays and camera performance.

Despite Xperia Z2 being a pre-production model, it manages to beat the Galaxy S5 in certain departments.

Well look at the Samsung's 16 ISO Cell can beat the 20 Mp with something else,,, and still haters say that Xperia UI is smooth etc.
well haters will never face the truth.

Camera photos...Why you just dont admit that S5 camera is far better than Z2 camera atleast in daylight , you can clearly see the difference between both...!
Camera Videos...Sure Sony has a great hardware...but they just cant utilize it properly...they still has a very long way to go to improve their camera software...Samsung's camera software departments is miles ahead...!
UI...who told you most people prefer Xperia UI ,you just cant assume anything you want , Samsung's UI is also lag free , i myself used Note 2 & Now Note 3 and there is no signs of lag ever...stop spreading lies...You know what , I just love Sony's design very much...but i hate their UI very much...its just to plain and not of my taste and I really hate those shitty on-screen buttons...!
Sony have 1GB RAM more than S5 , that dosnt means it won performance department...S5 despite having less RAM performs much better in benchmark & even in real life...!
Ya battery is better in Z2...!
And i even Hate the look of their UI...visual interface is not important...!
I always choose functionality over the looks...!

What's the point of the battle (review) if the losers can't accept the loss . I see lots of arguing about the camera , i read the review and galaxy s5 won . Z2 lost the war .
I doens't mean that the z 2 is a bad phone it's good but s5 is better alright then

Do not agree with reviwers in these facts:
Camera photo...Z2 better overall ( daylight still lower noise at 100 crop does not define overall camera quality ), if noise at 100 crop is relevant, then surely detail retainment in which Z2 is better is important too
Camera video... Z2 has better video stabilisation which IS important for a video is it not? That would be a tie...
UI... Most people prefer more reliable, more lag free Z2 ui, where you can install apps you need, not tons of preinstalled bloatware.
1gig more and better battery life is a definitive Z2 winner in performance department...simply logical.
Multimedia...while all flagships can run all, visual interface is of importance is it not? Z2 is better in that department
