Hey frends I think s5 is better than z2 bcause s5 have. Better camera, and smart remote but s5 side panel is a cheap plastic..
So deppend on you if you want to buy a battery backup fone so buy z2, if you want best photo capturing so plz buy s5.

i think the z2 is better because
better design
better sound quality
better battery life
more ram 3 gb
better camera
wich is all what you need in smartphone

It is an insult for z2 that it is coxpermpared with galaxy s5.....

both great phones spec wise, but samsung back cover design is just disgusting ... even other cheaper plastic phones have better looking plastic backs . really mad because i will probably get S5 dual for work when the price gets a little better : P will get a case but this type o design is really shitty for a flagship on this price range.

Why fight over phones?
Just go get what you want.
You all have stated your point.
I prefer the Samsung Galaxy S5. Why? Because I like it better than Z2.
That's it. Rest, it's your choice, preferences, "fact" knowledge and money.
At the end money decides.
GSM Arena has done a very good job researching and letting us know the pros and cons of both the devices.

Back cover very cheep . charging cap is very poor quality I used s5 but charging socket cover working very bad...camera is one of them strongest quality in this phne.very sleek degien.

really galaxy s5 a good,but there is no need of finger print scaner and heart beat sensor.
I prefer Z2, bcoz it has a powerful 3GB ram,great battery life and sleek design.the technologies integrated in z2 like x-reality,triluminus,xmor are increase workability.and has a powerful bravia engine 2.
