Just because I'm talking about facts that I know are facts? Turning things around like that more so shows an ego/hurt problem within yourself. Especially when you are still arguing back and making accusations when I'm just defending facts. I have no beat with Sony or your preference and if you even actually read what I said I might still rather the Z2.
And actually you do not know that. Because they are made by two different companies and are a different technology. How could you prove that? The only way to prove that would basically be if Samsung made a varrient with each sensor and tuned both equally as best they could.
And you are again going on things you do not understand...
First of all they ranked by overall sensor performance in few areas. Not just taking pictures. The 1020 and 808 still take better pictures to a good degree.
As well there are a few devices that had not tested....one main one being guess what...The S5. Which has been shown to take better shots and do more in almost every scenario. Mainly accept most dark shots.

[deleted post]You seem to have an ego problem...that is just fine, as long as you understand that, for example, 20mpx with 1/2.3 f IS better hardware than 16mpx with 1/2.6, f, even with isocell ...And as far as camera goes, doxmark equal rating over your "fact" says enough about your "objectivity" in the matter...let alone other "facts" of yours...Enjoy your ego, you might miss it one day ;-)

GSMARENA u forget thing about z2. All xperias have security app called MY XPERIA. It “can locate your device with a sound alert or display its position on a map. You can also send massage on your lost phone and can also erase data or lock your device if you lose it.” I have tried this app & and its truly useful.

And no I don't have a favorite yet. I just know facts. Something you are having trouble with.
The S5's camera overall works much better and offers many more things. As well as can make much better use of its full sensor. That's facts. And the S5 does better in basically all situations from moderately low light up to the brightest of situations.
It has faster focus, takes more detailed/better contrast pictures. And works better in almost all lighting conditions.
The front camera is 0 contest in favor of S5.
Video is hands down pure win for S5. Just slightly more stabilized on Z2.
Audio recorded so far in most tested scenarios is a lot cleaner on S5 with more hiss on Z2.
In movie mode the Amoled screen has one of the best white balance marks there are are. That in conjunction with less saturated colors and the best in blacks/contrast gives it about the best overall natural inage.
You can like whichever you like. It does not change fact.
It's dimmer, brighter, less reflective, more saturated, or overall more natural.
The audio out put is not "higher quality" on Z2. It's louder and clearer on S5. Noise canceling is just a marketing term they used.
Dual speakers is a win for Z2. I wish Samsung would go back to them.
The S5's design is thinner, more ergonomic, overall more durable and accessable. Has a better shape with a material that is one of the most comfortable to most of all devices. As well as has great grip and anti fingerprint magnet. As well as will not scratch as bad and has overall better shock obsorbancy. And despite all that and still having only one level less ip water rating can still remove the back. Handles heat better as well and is much easier and cost effect to replace battery or back.
That is overall much much more practical.
Camera shutter is nice no doubt.
Just because YOU PREFER glass does not make it better build quality. Glass is no less a cheap recyclable material. Same with aluminum. And the poly carb again is the overall most durable, cost effective, and practical of them.
So the S5 has some sizable advantages over Z2 whether that's what your preference agrees with or not. Preference and fact are two completely separate things.
And you can argue hardware all you want, but software as well makes huge differences. And Z2 even then only has a limited amount of "on paper" advantages that mostly still favor S5 in real world..
So you should take your own advice. Enjoy what you like. But you are not arguing preferences. You are trying to push off your preferences as fact and deny actual facts.
I'm just pointing out fallacies in your logic. The true facts are preferences aside S5 is basically on top.
However the Z2 is a stunner and I still may choose it or Note 4 instead.
You can logically and objectively understand facts, but have a different preference.

Although Galaxy S5 won in most of the categories, I will be buying Xperia Z2 as here in India Galaxy S5 is powered by octa-core Exynos. Quite disappointing actually.
