Motorola Moto E review: Have a break!

In Asia nobody is going to buy the Moto E because of Xiaomi, Asus, Huawei, Lenovo because with these China branded phones, you get specs that matches the Moto G but at Moto E prices.

Great review. I'm curious, did you try attaching a replacement cover? I wonder if the hooks on the one you're using were damaged. That would certainly be a downside, but not exactly bad build quality but a real chance that one can damage a back cover when prying it off. I'd call that a design trade off. I have a Moto G which also has a cover that is not trivial to pry off. I consider that a positive since it's a very tight, secure cover that feels solid. In reviews of the Moto G, I noticed that a few people cited the fit of the cover to be a problem, but most reviewers said they fit very well. Both of my covers fit perfectly. I wonder if those few reviewers damaged the cover prying it off. Fortunately the replacement covers are not particularly expensive--USD15 for the Moto E. I'm just saying that I'd rather have a secure cover that could be damaged than, a less secure cover that's designed to be easier to take on and off.

Got 1 for my mom. I must say im pretty impressed for a phone amounting Rs 7k. And the indian version does come with a charger and a headphone. Camera sucks though but water resistancy is there...overall...a bang for the buck.

This device is simply bad. People who say that this is the best device under 200$ - please take a look at Honor 3C or some Lenovo phones. For that money you can have a phone with much bigger and higher resolution/quality screen better cpu/gpu/ram and greater build quality. A great option is Lumia 520, cheaper and much better phone in every possible way. I use android but for small amount of money lumia 520 is the best possible choice. I dont get all the hype about this phone. If motorola is good why would Google sell it to Lenovo? Ask yourself that..

Why this company make poor cheap phone ? They have money but are not using it for good make of phone, it like cant iPhone and apple. People with this phone lose money and are it and using too well poor phone.

Why is it that so many so called high end mobiles have speakerphones that a damn near useless, whereas this handset has a great one that you can hear whether it's in a nightclub or a heavy engineering site.

I just bought this phone as a secondary phone to my wife. It's a really great phone. The only sad thing is the camera that is really bad. But all the other things are so great.

The L520 is the same price or cheaper.
It's camera is better. It's design is sturdier. It's performance is better.
Moto E might get 4.5/5, but Lumia 520 is sure to get 8.1, GDR1, GDR2 and surely 9(or whatever Threshold will be named)

I felt like this review has been very biased one, See the price man it is having solid build quality I agree camera is bad being not auto focus but every thing else is good about it be its sound quality,screen quality,user interface.

solid performer with this price tag.. for daily usage app, internet browsing, normal games like subway surfers temple run 2, switching to diff app etc. its speed is seriously excellent. and battery life is not above average but it's really good with 3G data n wifi on. and build quality is v.good jst like moto g. ;)
only cons in this phone is camera.. it would be so nice if motorola put only autofocus nt led flash.
To gsmarena,
it comes with both wall charger n headset in india.
