Let's go back in time to highschool conceptual physics for a minute. If you put an egg in a coffee can and drop it from the roof, will the egg still break? Lmao

Cores/benchmarks/geekbench don't mean a thing in real life. I don't see myself competing with my friend on how fast did we open up a browser app or which phone went to cooling mode fast after intensive game play. If I want a pure good sound I'll get a sound system

I believe Htc one (E8) is better than both Htc one (M8) and Lg G3 and should be a lot cheaper as well...

I own HTC One M7 and since the first day it's in a plastic case. So no premium feel, unfortunately...
I'm sure both devices M8 and G3 are great and both have theirs "+" and "-". There is no perfect phone on the market and the question which one is overall better in general is stupid POV. For me its G3, but who cares. I'll buy it, but I wont yell all over the forums its the best phone...

AnonD-196881, 24 Jun 2014who compare these two,why wrote lg is winner in look and us... moreBecause they think a plastic phone with a removable back is better than an aluminium body..... For me that's like saying plastic fork is better than a steel one.
Everyone has an opinion and as you can see by my comment I am more biased towards the HTC One M8.

The impact on performance and battery life, not to mention the 'over-heating' issues all point towards that QHD screen being more of a hindrance than a plus for the G3.
In an effort to get the G3 on the market as soon as possible with it’s so called ‘killer feature’ being that display, LG it seems have forgone any proper attempts at calibration. They also have not bothered to provide the necessary hardware configuration to power this screen.
Despite what some may try to convince themselves of, it’s becoming quite obvious that the Snapdragon 801 and it’s Adreno 330 gpu are not up to the task of pushing that many pixels.
The G3 is a one-trick pony, and that one-trick is seemingly a dud, I’d take the One M8 (or the S5 or Z2) any day over it.

The LG G3 has a great QHD Screen, but is difficult to view in sunlight and has sacrificed it's vividness in place of sharpness. The HTC M8 does not have the same pixel density and won't be as sharp as the G3, but will have a very sharp screen, an excellent level of brightness and a better contrast ratio. Plus looking at a 1080p display and a QHD display, there is very little the human eye can distinguish. We are not talking about a 720p Pentile Display vs a QHD here.
The batter life will be sacrificed by the QHD display as well. Having weighed all these things up, I could say the HTC M8 is the better choice in my opinion. HTC have invested a lot of time in their current handset and although it is beaten in specs by the LG G3, the handset itself will provide a more satisfying user experience.

I like LG G3 approach. But LG should have stick with Full HD display instead of the Quad HD. That would give G3 longer battery life while excel in design, removable battery and sdcard etc.
My suggestion to LG, bring G3 variant with Full HD display and smaller screen size (5"). That would be a dream phone to hold in the hand and longer battery life, but with all the advantages of existing G3.

The HTC one m8 is too slippery and now there's no side plastic to hold like in the m7. They're both good though
