SONY were damn right in there IFA showdown promising two days battery life. This is simply amazing. Can't wait for the same promise delivered on the Z3 as well. 101h of endurance rating is out of this world. I am so very much sold lol..... HTC & Sony the best brands to live with. My G3 will be sold soon.

Ew i have compare between Sony XZ3C and SG Alpha in gsmarena photo compare tool and Galaxy Alpha has better image quality @_@ in every MP (3,5,8,12)

that's need to contain new MediaTek MT6595 better of snapdragon 801, but any way sony xperia have do it another smartphone and hope so have to contain new chip MediaTek MT6596

I waiting already 3 years to find a proper device.
All the problems in world starts by comparison. Speaker not loud enought? My LwW in tests made very close ring volume. And its usually disturbs people. I hope reproduction of speaker audio quality will be as good as mine.
About camera. Samsung and others are better. Who da F cares. Its good enought for average user. GSM already wrote, you aint gonna get far better as this is.If you wanna make good quality photos, buy proper camera not try to find it in PHONE. But Sony already thought about that. Check those attachable cameras. With dedicated microphone, it makes serious competition in different league!

#GSMARENA you should correct your review at the part where you mentioned Z1C battery life rating which is 65h and not mistaken it with 52h rating of Galaxy Alpha. ;)
Overall Z3C is a great phone and with a price of almost 200£ less than Galaxy Alpha I think it just got perfect.
Shipping from Clove for just £290 (without VAT) is amazing deal for a new flagship phone. I didn`t thought I will change my phone soon but with battery life of 101h and that price - I`m sold.

Gsmarena earlier said current experia phones can't be set on manual brightness as automatic brightness always kicks in so how they tested its maximum brightness and on what level of brightness video play and browsing time is recorded is beyond me.

Why must use two fingers to access quick setting? it defeats the purpose of having a compact phone that it should be used with one hand.

You should remove "No 1080p screen resolution" as disadvantage. On screen smaller that 5' there is no need for more than 720p.
Z1C is very scratch-able. Is Z3C better in this area? (if it is not than this should be disadvantage)

Very fast review. I appreciate all goodness of apple, Samsung, LG, htc but this phone from Sony is not only better of all but also way ahead in price to value ratio. I prefer handy phone to large phone.
It's close competition is HTC e8. With better and larger screen, boom speakers and lower price.

OK - I was hoping they would improve the Speaker Volume on the Z3 Compact since they are Stereo Force Surround or whatever Sony calls it . Two speakers and not as loud as S4, or S5 Mini - odd. Can this be boosted with Software in production Models or is that it ?
Also - this Camera with the 20 megapixel hype is still not as clear as Samsung's 12 MP in Alpha, 13 MP in Galaxy 4, or the 16 MP in Galaxy 5, is it as clear as S5 Mini 8 MP ?
Don't get me wrong here, the size of the Z3 Compact and the Screen and big Battery sound great ( bright approx. 317 ppi is fine ) . I just expected they would tighten up the Camera Software and have Speakers similar or one step down from HTC ONE M8 , but NOT 2 or 3 steps down ....
I do like the zippy performance , love the size so hoping the Production Models get a 3 to 6 db boost to the Speakers, AND better HD Mode and
Photo Quality via software tweaks- can this happen ?

Anyway, I'm pleased with the review. Good display, better speaker, better camera. Almost no shortcoming. And for those who moan about not having 1080p, go buy a TV. Jeez.
