Looks like I have to wait another year for the upgrade.
Not impressive enough.
Wishlist for iphone 6s:
- 2GB RAM (so that the damn webpages don't refresh all the time. It annoys me so much. I will never buy another Iphone again with 1GB RAM.)
- Higher resolution
- Smaller bezel with larger screen while maintaining the phone size. The bezel size look so 2010.

In practice what you will realize is that those pixels are so tiny are tightly crammed into that sensor that noise and light blur between adjacent pixels pretty much drop PQ to such a level that even the manufacturers of those sensors have to resort to software attempts to recreate a virtual 8MP sensor.
Is 8MP any magic number, the forever "top-of-the-top" for phone photography? Not really.
Yet those are the facts.

And the fingerprint reader is not a first of Apple, it was Motorola who first introduced it. The fact you don't know about it pretty much speaks of its success.

The sad thing is is that up until this point android has been nothing but superior to apple in every way. Apple fanboys argue about the "amazing camera" on the iPhone 5, when the reality is the Samsung galaxy s2 has a nearly identical camera on paper, and not that much different in real life. And do note that the s2 is about a year and a half older than the iPhone 5. In other words, nearly every new feature that apple rolls out, there is an equvalent feauture that has been featured on android for a while. Another example is the finger print scanner first released on the iPhone. I will admit, the iPhone is the first phone to my knowledge to feature this, but android has had face unlock for quite sometime now, and at the end of the day the two do the same thing. Also note that HP and IBM business laptops have had fingerprint scanners for quite sometime, and they argueably are more secure and reliable than apples. Another example is apples "retina displays". Well the reality is, android phones usually feature higher resolution and higher PPI screens than apples, regardless of how apple markets theirs. For example, the oppo find 7 has a 2k screen, and yet is the same size as the iPhone 6 plus. As well, the 3 main android flagships, the gs5, lg g3 and the HTC one m8 all have better screens than the iPhone. So the real question is, what is the world doing with an iPhone in their pocket when they could have top notch hardware running hugely customizable and significantly more advanced software for a fraction on the price instead?

They talk about the 8mp camera because since the Iphone is about 200$ more expensive than other flagships they expect a higher resolution

I have only used android deveces so far.
But why count cameras with more than 8 MP and 1080p?
It's very hard for me to understand.
Just because they can?
I have my andorid oneplus one set to film 720p.
There is no point to film more than 1080p.
Pictures more than 8 MP usefull for what?
Smart nokias make very good 8 or 5 out of 41 MP. What's the point to have not so good 13 or 16 MP?
So camera comment on iphone topic are pointless!!

Why the he'll there is no 32GB version available for iPhone 6 & 6+. And how much more it would have cost to integrate OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) in iphone 6..? Such a shame for a big brand name Apple.

The phone is too big for me. I have had 4,7" phone and noticed I more like 4" phones. I hope this big phone trend will go away.

Anxiously waiting when Ios users understand what Android is all about.
1st. Android is a pure multitasking OS, whereas Ios pauses the app when put in background.
2nd.Due so this, it requires huge ram and cpu.
3rd. It has more features than Ios.
4th. Stop thinking Android is only in Samsung, check pure Nexus phone and compare it with your Iphone.
5th. Check this video and comment section to understand the difference

lets go, 05 Oct 2014I really can't remember that far back, all I get from 2012 ... more"Benchmarks in themselves do NOT add features, the iPhone has NO Sapphire as "promised" it has lost Gorilla glass protection and now is just shatterproof glass"
It was never promised. It was only rumored, and all flagship phones use Gorilla Glass, not Sapphire. No points taken there.
"iPhone 6 is NOT water or Dust proof (IP67 certified - dust and water resistant)"
Again, most flagships are not. No points taken here either.
"Apple pay is a gimmick, and NOT a phone related feature so 2 years"
Apple pay is the most secure mobile payment method there is, specially with its Touch ID integration.
If anything like this were a gimmick, Google Wallet would be one.
"if you ALREADY have cash or credit / debit card or cheque I am sure that ALL establishments that accept Apple pay will accept one or all of the other payment methods from you a friend who has this.
Having Apple pay in an establishment that does NOT accept Apple pay is......
As Apple pay is NOT new technology in essence all those people who in 2012 were contracted to the iPhone5 have NOT upgraded but signed up for a larger display iPhone 5."
True, but it adds simplicity to something we do every day, buy stuff. It is easier, faster, and more secure to just tap my iPhone with my fingerprint to make a payment rather than taking out my wallet>>card/cash>> wait for the cashier to stop polishing her nails (it is a walgreens, remember) and take accept the payment, give me change/receipt, etc etc...
i do understand your point, but give it time. It might be something

... moreWell, possibly not.
The 'best' phone on the market comes down to opinion and preference, more than anything else.
