I don't understand a lot of comments on tech specs, ram, etc.
What about real world use? What's the use of a brand new Galaxy S5 if after a few months and being filled up with some data, it lags?
What's the use of higher specs on a flagship android if apps aren't even built to take advantage of it?
What if something goes wrong with your phone? Do you realize how EASY it is to go into Apple and have it repaired or them give you a new one? Ever try that with the other providers? I don't know about you, but there aren't a ton of Samsung, LG & Sony stores around...
And then features. Back in 2007, I had a Nokia N95 which I loved. It could do SO many things that other phones couldn't even dream of. But guess what? I took advantage of almost NONE of those "extra features" that the phone could afford me.
For most people who are busy, a reliable phone that works well and meets real world needs on a regular basis, is important. And that makes it a premium phone, worthy of a premium price.

at least they shouldve increased the screen to straight 5inch and camera would be 10-12mp and 32gb shouldve been kept as standard..... a shadow to samasung s3.... disappointing....

You have to realise that benchmark measure in the main is speed.
Do you think an IPhone loading an app a few milliseconds faster is something to write home about?
Benchmarks in themselves do NOT add features, the iPhone has NO Sapphire as "promised" it has lost Gorilla glass protection and now is just shatterproof glass
iPhone 6 is NOT water or Dust proof (IP67 certified - dust and water resistant)
THIS & THAT is better than either this or that
Android phone have never bragged about being better in everything, just MOST thing, so having features NOT on an iPhone is "no contest"
Apple pay is a gimmick, and NOT a phone related feature so 2 years
if you ALREADY have cash or credit / debit card or cheque I am sure that ALL establishments that accept Apple pay will accept one or all of the other payment methods from you a friend who has this.
Having Apple pay in an establishment that does NOT accept Apple pay is......
As Apple pay is NOT new technology in essence all those people who in 2012 were contracted to the iPhone5 have NOT upgraded but signed up for a larger display iPhone 5.

I find your constant comments about screen size and all this junk very useless. Many of us work in an industrial environment and having a smaller phone like the iPhone 5 is much better bet. 5"+ becomes unwieldy when you have to work on an industrial plant and the phone is so big and useless OS system don't allow quick access to features required and phablets are just useless for OHO( one handle operation). Perhaps in future you should take this into account. So far every Samsung and Sony over 5" has been dumped for the "older, not so flashy iPhone 5s's in our corporate environment. Not to mention the superior built quality and no-nonsense iOS systems.

Rubbish fone, you could buy a Huawei and ZTE at a fraction of the iFake's price, and still get good value for money.

I really love this phone. This s the first time I own an up to date iPhone. My complaint is that it is too big for a 4.7". Galaxy s4 feels smaller. The Aluminum also feels cheap. It already has a minor scratch so I ended up buying the leather case. I hate cases and how they always attract dust but I did spend almost $1K. It would be my perfect phone if it was made like the 5s with the size of last years Moto X. It would have even better to not use the rounded edges.

Gal... moreExcept it's display is not best. It's camera is not best. It's speaker is weak. It's Headphone output took a step back.
It's cpu is held back by ram and clock speed. It's gpu is what is saving the chip.
The 6 has weak battery still and no ois. The 6 plus bends.
and the os still leads in app crashes and has more lock ups, bugs, and lags.
Keep trying.

Furthermore you can adjust r/g/b accuracy through white balance setting in camera and screen likewise...
It's a feature some other flagships do not actually have

would not agree on the camera, cause color accuracy does not make all of camera, there is also detail, contrast, pixel count,etc...

and....
Would you please explain that "higher is better" on a negative number scale?
Higher is better for dynamic range which is a postive number scale true...
But as much as my memory of mathematics serves me, I always thought that -50 is higer than -80...
I really would like someone to explain it to me, as I haven't found an explanation for that test scale on this site...

Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Alpha have bad white balance (rosiness, blueness and oversatureted photos and videos, hdr mode remove rosiness and blueness)
g3 make blueness photos and videos
Z3 redness
Note 4 have two bathes with different cameras, first with isocell (rosiness, blueness and oversatureted), second with sony camera (yellownes)
iPhone 6 sometimes makes it a bit yellowish photo and video, iphone 6 plus and 5s even worse
Display.
Z3 and Z3 compact have worst display.
10K Temperature (12K hi-tech mail) instead of 6500k
Bad gamut accuracy
Bad Delta E
Delta E grayscale 8.96 (need 2 and lower)
Delta E rgbcmy 6.03 (7,91 hi-tech mail) (need much lower)
Z3 display much worse than Z2 display (becuase z2 have better calibratuon) and galaxy s4
G3 also bad but much better than sony
It have oversaturated and oversharped (halo effect) display with bad contrast
M8 have good display but the calibration is slightly worse than iphone 6
S5 have bad calibration (but better than sony), but also have no blur in 60fps video and menu, better viewing angles, better contrast, better black color than iphone 6.
But it also have 240ghz flickering
