An Adroid phone with 12 times th... moreYou seem to forget that the Note 4 has to feed over two times more resolution every single time on the most beautiful screen on earth, yet it still beats the iPhone in basemark x benchmark and leave the iPhone in the dust in term of battery life, functionality, features, freedom, flexibility (not bendability, of course, iPhone takes that one:D) and awesomeness! :)

Buddy ur iphone doesnt have a background. No desktop like thing where u wud move freely add widgets n do many stuffs. While ur ios stays in main menu like forever. open apps n close n stay at that screen. If you put the same chipset from note4 in apple ip6 then it will destroyed every competition. Its just dat it doesnt need dat much power to run that simple os. Bt when u ve lots of things to do. Lots of work going on together its makes ur fully powered device to work as needed. That said there are many more things that i can tell you that makes use of the powerful chipsets. Put those chipsets in iphone it will destroy even the same chipset in note4.

"Note that some users report that the Auto Brightness mode can push the brightness higher than the brightness slider would allow you to. We didn't observe this in our test lab."

More like "We didn't test this in our test lab," because they didn't know how to.

It's strange that they would categorize this as "some users report" when it's a well-known and publicized feature. This just simply shows that most tech writers and websites are incapable to conduct proper display measurements.

[deleted post]Lets race in running same apps and pick your best android phone. iPhone can run apps faster than android. Smoother gaming graphics since it can do much higher framerate than your android.

An Adroid phone with 12 times the capacity of an iPhone 6(2x number of cores, 2x CPU speed, 3x RAM) still gets pawned by the iPhone. AnonD-309127, 12 Oct 2014Thing is its not just hardware that dictates benchmark scor... moreThe iPhone's CPU has half the number if cores running at half the speed, with a third of the RAM. And it's still in front. It's not throtteling, it's architecture, software/hardware tight integration, smart caching, faster Flash memory. And the real life use shows anyway that there is no benchmark throttling on the iPhone. Maybe that's the case on the Note 4:
"Performance is buttery smooth aside from a half a second wait when you tap the recent apps button (but probably just nitpicking here - the same task on the Nexus 5 running stock Android takes exactly the same rime)."

"These benchmark results might come shocking for some, but they really aren't. The new GPU is better in every way against the current crop of flagships, but that's probably going to change with the Adreno 420 with the Snapdragon 805 and the Nvidia Kepler in the Tegra K1".
This is from the review of the iPhone 6.
Another one of the fandroids dream shatters ☺. And K1 won't be used on phones due to the 11W GDP.
