Always liked Motorola for some reason..was my first half way decent cellphone (original razr) then I went to Nokia for their great camera phones. Nice to see that Motorola is FINALLY being competitive with their phone cameras.

there's a vid on youtube, search for "motorola droid turbo on other carrier", 6:35 long vid, says its not locked to verizon. you can use any nano sim card with it just check you carriers freq bands.
MDT uses GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
LTE 700 / 1700 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600
I just checked for O2 in UK. I could use it for 2G n 3G but not for 4G. But as I saw, with EE and Vodafone you can use it on 2G/3G/4G.
My only problem is that I want the red version but as I've read the international version comes in black only.
cheers

Kenosis , 31 Oct 2014I will order from US if it is not available in Asia I wouldn't do that if I was you. It uses CDMA technology locked to Verizon in the US. It would not work anywhere else. Wait and see if there is a Global GSM version released.

This phone has a huge problem - it is extremely hard to hear phone calls! The placement of the speaker requires you to place your ear on the top corner of the phone instead of placing it against the face of the phone. This is both unnatural feeling and very uncomfortable. An otherwise great phone that can't make phone calls. Very disappointed.

I like this more masculine look, more durable materials, and a return to off-screen navigation buttons (though I'd prefer proper tactile buttons than capacitive).
Perhaps though a bit too big for me.

No card slot, nothing to see here, move along please.
Out of interest, what is the 35mm equivalent angle of the lens?
