Anonymous, 29 Oct 2014will this droid turbo be available in india ?Forget what I said! Motorola has showed it's got balls by setting up Nov 5 to announce the global version of the Turbo, so you can expect it to come to India at sometime in the near future. Look for it on flipkart.

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2014"Snapdragon 805 is the new champ" You keep say... moreYou have no clue about the Qualcomm MicroArch. You compared Mediatek to Qualcomm's best? You really need psychiatric help like fast LOL

Tegra K1 32/64bit are only good for tablet power envelopes, the very reason why it's not in smartphones yet. Maybe next year when it shrinks to 20nm but by then the competition will have moved ahead and nullified the narrow advantage Nvidia has in outright performance.

"Snapdragon 805 is the new champ"

You keep saying that but I don't think it means what you think it means. Qualcomm is beat by everyone these days, even f*@#ing mediatek has a better cpu these days. I'm not even going to go to tegras Denver cores or Exynos 5433 because there would be no context there.

I feel bad for people giving top dollar to buy an already outdated chip, $200 Chinese phones post better results. Qualcomm is in the same position as Intel was 10 years ago in the pc arena. They have the worst chip (pentium 4 of the smartphones) but they have contracts with their customers to peddle their snake oil.

Anonymous, 28 Oct 2014If you consider that thick...I don't know what to tell you.Or you can accept reality.
In this day and age it is very thick.
The nexus being the same thickness but having a smaller battery and 0.8inch larger display makes it even worse!

First of all. These are made with Amoled. They require less space.
It's 2014. Their battery is good, but drastically thinner devices have larger ones.
And the nexus does this worse. The longer screen leaves room for more battery and less thickness. It's battery is even smaller.

And it's Motorola. I mean go back to the razr flip and the Droid razr.

                  These are thick.

Does it have OIS? Stereo Speakers? Four microphone noise cancellation? Active notifications? Moto Voice?

It looks like it definitely does not have the external antenna in a metal band around the edge of the phone, with dynamic tuning for better reception.

Also 10.6 or 11.2 mm thickness for a phone this size is pretty beefy these days. It seems like a thinner device could have been a good trade off for a smaller, say, 3000 mAh battery. That would be much larger than the 2300 mAh battery in the 2nd Gen Moto X and almost as big as the 3220 mAh batter in the Nexus 6.

And what kind of skin/bloatware does it come with?

Definitely a nice sounding device in some ways, but seems more like a third different option, relative to the 2nd Gen Moto X and Nexus 6, not something that's clearly better than either.

The daylight sample images look less sharp but that might be down to less aggressive sharpening. Overall seems slightly better than the alleged 'Nexus 6' shots, which by the way looked fake.

The AMOLED QHD was what I bet on, the speculators were wrong once again when they predicted IPS LCD.

Way to go Moto, way to go. This ones gonna be one heck-of-a device released so far this year. Can't wait to test this out myself. Expandable memory might be the only thing this beast lags

when i read that google camera will support at the beginning HDR+ (computational dynamic range thanx to new api for camera and tight Lilipop integration) only for nexus 6 & 9 i decided that nexus 6 is right choice...
Also does it have voice dsp as moto x 13 or 14?
Where is review of nexus 6 btw .. it was introduced and we didnt see any deep review yet...
