Xiaomi Redmi 2 review: Spare hand

3 February 2015
The Xiaomi Redmi 2 is helping the company cross into the 64-bit era. A catchy enough headline for a sequel that’s not overly generous with the upgrades. On second thought, a new generation chipset (lower-midrange but still), a more recent OS and LTE are not a package to frown on...

I think you need to adjust your sunlight legibility test gsmarena. The redmi 2 is an ogs screen unlike the redmi 1s and has lower reflectivity. This is one thing people complained about and xiaomi improved in the redmi 2.

I have both phones and can confirm the redmi 2 has better sunlight readability with both at max brightness, but you have given it a lower rating? If you're going to put so much emphasis on benchmarks please get them right.

I also wish people would stop assuming all matte covers provide more grip. This is nonsense, glossy plastic has much better grip. Owning the redmi 2 I can tell you the back cover is very smooth and slippery, very very little grip at all.

I think the original Red rice is better than 1s and 2. Almost same performance but much better battery using a mediatek quad-core

The phone comes with very atractive colour but you will believe what it does to your personal information. you have no idea about where your personal information hunting for. especially for high profile and those who are in defence and political field. each and every informaion will goes to the china's server, they will know and waiting for it..
