hund, 17 Mar 2015Pfft... No one can dethrone Nokia when it comes to mobile c... moreAlready done last year by Panasonic.
With a large 1 inch sensor with 20mp @2.6um size.
And in 2016 Samsung will be way ahead of where they are now. With a much improved Sony sensor from now. Or moving on to a superior version of their Isocell camera. Hopefully finally utilizing larger pixels.
Nokia will have to make a large update to their sensor/lens to hold any kind of large advantage.

For me C is the best, then A and B. The rendering images in C is sharper and more detailed than A and B.

AnonD-183110, 17 Mar 2015You see, when the software processing is at least fine, it'... moreBecause even with the image processing, the difference between these pictures are clear to me and most people. I'm implying that someone that is unable to spot the differences which despite everything are so obvious, won't also be able to appreciate the advantages of a better picture.

Pfft... No one can dethrone Nokia when it comes to mobile camera shootout. And when Nokia comes back on 2016, Samsung will be at their mercy.

AnonD-80165, 17 Mar 2015If you found it "impossible" to distinguish betwe... moreYou see, when the software processing is at least fine, it's quite easy to spot quality or even behavior between different cameras and their sensors. But now it's hard because there haven't been any major image-processing improvements since Note 3/S4 came out. Extreme noise reduction using software kills most of the detail and makes the photos look like crap. But then again, all the noise comes because of tiny sensors.
Also, I'm a little bit confused about what in the world this has to do with my appreciation of pureview's camera o.O

Whichever wins, they are pretty much the same. Not a big deal at all. Great cameras.
