Then don't compare it to s6 then.. Any phones a fail compared to the s6 apart from xperia Z series as they kept their water and dust resistance since day 1.

..G3 had best spec at the time of arrival.... moreWell, imo i will choose a phone with better display, camera, and battery life, instead of top benchmark scorer phone.
nowadays, as long as it's not laggy, there's nothing really matters. People won't use, let's say, 5+ apps in one time right? You guys just make it tougher, while companies are trying to make it simplier, just like performance. I dont think you guys will be able to see the performance's differences between gs6 and g4 in daily life. But surely you will see the quality of display, camera, and battery life.
Sorry for bad english, im just trying to give my opinion

I think that LG built the G4 such that it will have a lower price than the S6 and HTC offerings, let alone iPhone 6. Maybe the launch price will be comparable but it will quickly drop a lot while still bringing LG solid profits.
I would have liked a smaller screen like 5.2" and maybe a flat screen but otherwise it looks quite good. I really like the leather covers, but the stitching pattern could have been improved. A simple vertical line in the middle is about the worse from so many possibilities.
Camera looks to be very good, especially in video the 3-axis stabilization will create very smooth movies. The F1.8 aperture is very nice too, the low-light ability promises to be great.
Performance-wise it looks very similar to G3, maybe 20% faster but with 64-bit support (not sure it's really needed at this point).
For the correct price this could be a good buy.

Looks like a nice phone. Lg have clearly tried to improve on the G3, its a shame though that its grown in size. I have the G3 and whilst I have used it for a year it is too big to carry especially in the summer. I guess i have to hope sony will produce a decent top end smaller phone. What happened to 5' devices?

The only thing that kept me from purchasing G2, G3, or G4 on that matter, is audio quality.
If they can produce one like HTC then it's a game changer!
HTC sound quality in music is second to none.

AnonD-215124, 29 Apr 2015No themeing in the UX? What were they thinking?Maybe they are wrong, on G3, you needed to go to LG app store (smartworld) to get themes. Which i doubt they tried during their quick tests.

I really like this phone, a lot. love the design, removable battery and sd card slot. the only let down is the S808 chipset, although its not that bad.
I'm glad LG has shown in can have an amazing design and build quality without limiting the device with a locked in back.
Im a Note 4 user, but if LG can build on this again next cycle then i may just switch.

LG talk about no bloatware, but on the G4 they installed that McAffee spyware thing again which you can't get rid of. That's one reason why I sold my G3.

Come on, do you guys prefer premium glass + metal which is slippery, fragile, easy to break and hot like hell, or leather that's comfortable for your hand?
