I bought samsung s5 last year,it is amazing device and i think the android os is better than os i used before : ios ,blackberry ,windows ..
Early in 2015 .. other brands released better phones than my s5 , so as an advise :please choose a satisfying phone for you and hold it .. because you won't stop replace your phones.

Only a few phones support tmobile LTE band 12. Now is not a good time to buy a new GSM phone if you use tmobile.

Alot of the missing cons one might assume the phone doesnt have any without reading the full review. Things like a non-user replaceable battery or No micro SD card slot can be game changers for users so they should be put in.

Wayne, 05 May 2015Well I moved from a Blackberry Z30 to S5 and whilst the ha... moretotally agree with you. Blackberry OS is the best one i had used. Unfortunetly, their hardware is not so capable. i tnink the author was tried to say blackberry devices are not so value-the-money as before. they are not bad but just not worthy as before.

Anyway, i love the blackberry OS. I had Z10,Q5,Q10 and Z30 before, now i move to samsung E7, because the blackberry ones cannot receivevthe Wifi signals as well as before after upgrade. And the system is not as stable as before. i guess it all caused by the poor hardware capacity.

BlackBerry Passport should have made the cut. Same internals as the S5 or OnePlus One makes it the only premium QWERTY on the market.

Why not review the Asus Padfone S (PF 500 KL)? It's a bang for bucks phone of the century! I bought it in Indonesia for less than 300 USD and i get a Sony Xperia Z1 specs plus a tablet! What a bargain. Please review it gsmarena team..

You can get a ZTE Rapido LTE for $129 and it is on a Version's 4G LTE network. I recommend that phone. It also has a 4.5 inch screen and a 8 MP rear facing and 1 MP front facing camera. But the phone is pretty heavy.

Remember, a lot of phones are only available for single markets and weren't included here. This said, the omission of the OnePlus One should have been addressed in the "why didn't make the cut" page, absolutely agreed. It's only available with online ordering, not in any domestic market - so if the guide was only for phones one can buy in local shops, then that's at least a consistent reason. But do state it. :)

The Samsung S6 is a brilliant phone, but like the HTC M9 the battery life is poor compared to last years models.

If you have a S5 or HTC One M8, wait until next year.
