but if you try to compare the G4'shots and S6's shot SIDE BY SIDE at its very best you will see G4 is nearer to the true colors of objects.

              that's the real life comparison

And even then with the overall efficiency plus improvement in panel efficiency, as all as efficiency in other parts in even web browsing Samsung's Amoled still is doing well.
                    And sometimes even better.

have you seen the orange on s6 it becomes red and the yellow becomes orange.
see the video comparison between g4 and s6 photos comparison.

even when you set the s6 on its more natural colors still very far from the real life colors.

Anonymous, 10 May 2015False! And learn to read. I never told anyone what to like ... moreActually, no.
-Colour accuracy slash saturation is mostly a choice. IPS panels can give the 'perfect' 6400K if the company that uses it decides to. Amoled is no more or less good in that.
-On the department of brightness, oled screens to this point haven't shown ever that they are superior. Again, they show similar numbers and much depends on settings and choices.
-Reflectance has nothing to do with the panel what so ever. The screen itself does not reflect, coatings and the likes may, but that's yet another point where companies make choices.
-Whiles blacks may be more black on oled screens, whites are more white on IPS screens. Oled screens can come close to whites these days, but just so, IPS can come close to oled blacks these days, with proper techniques in place.
-On part of viewing angles, IPS is no worse either. A proper IPS panel has the same maximum viewing angles as oled screens can show. Bad viewing angles are mostly comon by non-IPS LCD screens, not used in high grade phones.
-Uniformity isn't an issue on proper IPS panels in phones. while it may happen to panels where companies try to cut corners, you just won't find those issues with the high end panels.
-Power consumption may be a plus, when using loads of black. Otherwise, there isn't a big benefit. When using a proper oled screen that also is having a clear image in bright sunlight, you need techniques that will up the power consumption with quite a bit, making matters worse, compared to IPS panels.
You may notice that I didn't mention the contrast point, as those are just not comparable due to the big difference in how the panels function. It does not make the panel better, it just gives some people bragging rights that something goes into infinity. *yay*

Facts matter. Non of the points mentioned give oled screens any form of superiority. The points that were given as different compared to the known high end IPS screens are factory-settings, which have nothing to do with the capabilities of the different panels. Above that, there is the ever remaining denial of screen burn in that amoled still suffers from. It may be less horrible than before, but still present. It's even already present on phones that are on display in shops.

Anonymous, 10 May 2015If amoled is your choice go for it, Don't try to convince ... moreFalse! And learn to read. I never told anyone what to like or implied it that way.
You can like whatever you like and I specifically pointed that out.
But the Amoled is a superior technology. You can prefer the IPS if you want, but almost all the advantages are going to three Amoled.
Color accuracy or saturations, brightness, reflectance, black, whites, contrast, viewing angles, uniformity, power consumption.
All those things are measurably superior on the Amoled.
Some of that is just Samsung calibrating it better and some of it is just technology advantages.

Even life span of Amoled has been brought and is meeting and exceeding that of LCDs.
So you can prefer an IPS, but the Amoled factually has more advantages in technical aspects of how a display should work.
