Apple Watch review: Uncharted territory

27 May 2015
Apple certainly took its sweet time with this one. After years of rumors Apple Watch finally showed its face on September 9 last year and started to reveal its secrets. And it wasn't until the end of April that actual sales begun and with long waiting times at that...

Either wait a couple of iterations for Apple to release a particular feature that you're waiting for... or wait a little bit longer for Android to release their slightly modified version of what Apple first got right, but with anti-Apple branding!

Srb, 28 May 2015The same thing you said about the first iPhone, no big deal... moreFirst, Sony made a real smartwatch, then Samsung and LG and Moto did it. at last, apple followed them. Try harder next time and read history before commenting.

No thanks,I can get an Iphone if I add another 100 bucks.Buying this will be a total waste for a middle class person.I think most people would prefer another smartphone or tab or any other more necessary products such as Led Tv,Laptops. But,yes something like this always welcomed. Its very attractive and could add a bit more spice in your stylish life. But the price should be at its limits. After all in the end its nothing but a wearable thing just like a normal watch.

if I will ever buy a smart watch, I will opt for apple watch ... maybe 2nd gen, maybe 3rd one.. I trust apple completly. It's a very reliable company. My ipod and ipad never disappoints me, unlike the samsung or sony products.. Build quality is all that matters for me in a smart watch, and ofcourse which supports my iphone

So,in short, only tech-ignorant crApple fangirls like Mona Nomura of Yahoo and Kristie Lu Stout of CNN, would gush and fawn over these under-spec'ed,downright ugly, hilariously overpriced, crappy UI, laggy, buggy, overhyped me-too iFruitcake iProduct Made by Communist China would buy these kiddie toys.

Only the circular Moto 360 and LG Watch Urbane/R smartwatches interest me in the slightest. I still think all these trinkets are solutions looking for a problem... There are already countless fitness & activity trackers going into their 4th/5th/6th generation, this crApple is barely functional compared to those... LOL to the diehard cultists still wanting to get this. Indeed, a fool and his money are soon parted...

                                MEDIOCRE!!!!

                                options to consider for smartwatches:
1)moto 360 (2nd gen shoulde be aorund pretty soon now)
                                2)LG G watch R/urbane.
                                3)Huawei watch.

                                2) & 3) are as expensive as apple but atleast they are worth it

its funny how you have to wait 2-3 generations to get a product right while rivals are already coming up with new technology in their products.

apple fans always say....next year it will be better.
using apple products is like being a slave.the master decides what you can use or what you get. no freedom of choice.Stone age technology.

The band looks plasticky, just like the iphone 5C, more like a toy than a status symbol to me.

The same thing you said about the first iPhone, no big deal , no game changer..and after second generation, everybody used the same recipe
Lg already is following with the price over 400$, we will see sapphire+staineless steel soon enough and gold from others...multiple bands and multiple sizes...so Apple is the company that others follow

Finally, the Watch comes with a Power Reserve mode, which is basically a secondary operating system that turns your smartwatch into a regular one. It removes all eye-candy and all features, and does nothing but display the clock upon detection of your wrist movement. It does prolong the Apple Watch battery life tremendously though, but unless you only need to know the time we find it rather pointless.

Jony Ivy found way to do thing in much pointlessly. Look it he's out of ideas, probably out of Job soon, if Steve Jobs still around.
