GSMArena.com turns 15: A video trip down memory lane

15 June 2015
Remember the times when the most exciting feature of your new phone was the number of pre-installed ringtones? Or the times when we measured storage by the number of entries the phonebook would take?

Happy Birthday GSMARENA! Thanks for all the great reviews and news over the years that has been a great help for choosing devices over the years! Here's wishing you many more years and every success!

You almost made me cry... I remembered Motorola brick size phones star tacs and nokias 5110 and 3310. Those were good phones.

Keep up the good work. Long life to GSMArena

Its a shame to see all the pioneers of mobile phones are either gone or struggling to survive, back then there were some amazing ideas and pretty cool designs...now they look alike, safe slabs all uniform in design...

Happy birthday, GSMArena. You've been my dependable source for everything mobile phone for the past 8 years. I read the Samsung U700 review on here and I was hooked. I wish you many more successful years of unbiased mobile reporting to come.

Nokia's first 3G phone was the Leaf-shaped Nokia 7600, if I'm not mistaken

Excellent video. I had so many of them in my hands and owned a few myself too. And visited GSMArena ever since I got the internet (although for some reason no one could visit the Nokia N8 comments section lately). Happy birthday. :-)

                              (btw it's Nokia 7650 not 6750)

Always been a Nokia fan but when the Motorola V3 arrived I lusted after it but sadly couldn't afford it. My 1st smartphone would have been the N70,great phone as well, I wish Nokia would have further developed the N9, hell even continue developing Symbian don't mind it on my N8 or 808 pureview.
