I got my s6 last week. This is the best phone i have ever used. Most questions its battery life but for me I can get through my day easily. No over heating, super fast, beautiful display, fast charging, lighter touchwiz, excellent camera etc. I highly recommend this phone if you are looking for a flagship device. Thanks Samsung. Keep up your good work.

ICE, 19 Jun 2015It's not noise reduction that is causing the softer images ... moreYou can't call soft corners an issue since this is something that is caused by having wide lens. This is how every wide lens in the world works so this is not an issue but something that you have to live with. However, if soft corners are an issue for you you can always buy a phone with f2.4 or f2.7 aperture and you will get an image which is sharp from corner to corner but low light photography will be terrible of course.

Ale is right. The LG G4's battery is a lot better, as many reviewers point out. I am not sure why GSMArena is almost the only one saying the LG G4's battery is worse. And by this huge margin is insane.

Not sure where these review sites are getting their battery stats from, the S6 is terrible!, the G4 though not the best I have seen by any mean's, is much better.

I have experience using both the S6 and G4. In fact I have owned two S6's, The first I sent back because I thought it had an issue with the battery, but based on the performance of the replacement I received however I concluded that the battery was just that bad!

I sold the 2nd S6 and used the money to buy a G4 which is my current device, and again the battery life in daily use is far superior to the S6.

When under heavy use I would say they are similar in performance but would still give the edge to the G4, However the drain the S6 experiences whilst in idle / standby is frightening!

My daily commute to work is an hour on average, from a full charge prior to leaving home the S6 battery would be at around 77-80% by the time I get to work (this is just through using it to listen to a podcast) the G4 by contrast under the same circumstances will be at around 90-93%.

I'm not a big fan of the S6 or Samsung, but the S6 is defiently better than the G4.

It's not noise reduction that is causing the softer images from the G4. If it was then it would affect the entire frame. The image centre is always sharp, while the outer frame, especially the lower left, is very soft. This is a lens issue.
