Nokia N1 review: Rebirth

22 June 2015
Microsoft's acquisition of Nokia's Devices & Services division was one of the toughest tech breakups. Nokia has sort of a comeback to consumer devices though by licensing their brand for Foxconn to use in a co-designed product...

No GPS??
Good. Atleast Google won't be able to spy on us. GPS is anyways not used much by most users.

wow such a poor battery life and sluggish software. Its already a failure before it even available in the western market. Nokia, you ruined your reputation with this product. You need to go back to a drawing board and come up with a original, unique, innovative product, not a copycat one.

AnonD-366917, 22 Jun 2015as owner of Samsung's tab 3 (10,1') for year and a half now... moreYour tablet was the result of Samsung's poo software bogging down an already poo clovertrail Intel cpu (which doesn't work as good as arm CPUs on Android) with minimal RAM. A friend has it and the upgrade to KitKat made it practically unusable. Cyanogenmod 12.1 saved it though.
Nokia N1 is a good device but the copycat design, the unpolished software and the availability keeps it out of the radar for many.
Windows tablets with Intel core i3/5/7 (and soon M) are actually as powerful as ultrabooks. But they are bulkier and cost more than the atoms.

as owner of Samsung's tab 3 (10,1') for year and a half now, i must say i will newer again buy android tablet.
i don't like apple products, but android is on this feald far behind it.
maybe i will try one with Windows, but in general, for device which i rarely use...thing is pricing. and Windows tablets looking overpriced to me, or to weak.

so it seams to me you are littlebit hardish on this review. i don't think that for this kind of money you can find better "brand name" divece then this. there are Xiaomis Mi tablet, and that's it.
you can find Onda,Pipo, Cube...all spec wise good tablets, if you are trusting this brands (and i do not, since my first one was Onda, and SW, or HW supporting it was more the bad).
and i really don't nead tablets, i can live without them...good smartphone, PC, and Ultrabook is more then i need, and i am buying it just for curiosity,so far i did not find something that is understandably priced and good enough that would justify the purchase.
by readin other reviews, and owners posts at forums, i was convinced this is best value for a money, and you are writing it's bad.
          quite contrary to the other!

                  "one of the toughest breakups"

Do people forget that there's something past the name of the company on devices? Christ...
