Honestly I feel Windows Tablet and iPad are your better option. iOS is very complete with applications for work, media, music, games. and Windows i have played with them and man multitasking is awesome!! :D
Windows while I am unfamliar with it its a very good tablet. Love their computers too

I did not expect to miss the good ones in the list: Samsung galaxy tab S and S2 variants, xiaomi mi pad, huawei x1 and honor x2 tablet, or even lg gpad 8.3. The cheap compact tablets listed here are totally not worth the money.

I always loved your website for ur work towards tech world with great reviews and news. But this post made me to think otherwise,if u think Windows tabs are not Web and multimedia oriented tabs, then u are very wrong. Most win tabs can virtually do anything a pc can do. But it lacks power still it does the works pretty well. One more point, include MI tab also, it's a beast.

Only tablets running full windows 8.1 and obviously windows 10 can be considered as a proper device. Android and ios tablets are just toys meant for kids. Windows is Windows. Nothing else comes close.

They should've added that the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is now discontinued. I found out after trying to get a replacement for my faulty model and was given a refund instead because it is no longer stocked.

Not sure about other countries but this is the case in the UK

Last paragraph - the dumbest thing I've ever read on a tech portal. W8.1 tablet is a very handy device for web and multimedia, you can run almost ANY browser you want and play ANY format media. There's even more - you can connect USB CD/DVD player and rip your audio collection to favorite format media. And you still have a full PC "just in case". Please change the title to "GSMArena toys buyer guide" to match the content.

C'mon guys, be serious... You make one of the best reviews of smartphones, I always admired your work in this field. Why can't you be professional about tablets?

GsmA didn't even mentioned about Xiaomi Mi Pad ?
It's a monster spec (Antutu v5 : 51.019) at really affoardable price (around US $230)

Would someone also recommend the Sony Xperia Z Ultra? I find 7" tablets quite too large unlike the slim profile of the Z Ultra

I'm planning to buy this sometime soon

Probably because the Jolla tablet was vaporware? It was never released, the company keeps making excuses, and are having all sorts of problem getting this thing out the door. I speak as one of the early donors. Jolla will probably be gone in a year.

Good morning (20.VII.2015) GSM Arena: How is it that the Jolla! tablet didn't make this list? I think that, for a young start-up company like they are (having parted from Symbian-to-Windows-Phone-Nokia) it would have been a fair opportunity should you had given them a break by including them in this list. Kindly,
