Moto G (3rd gen) review: Good as gold

06 August, 2015
It is hardly a surprise that the third generation Motorola Moto G is one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2015. After all, in less than two years after the first iteration of the smartphone (Moto G became the most successful phone in the company’s history) made its debut, the Moto G product family has successfully redefined what a budget Android handset should look, feel, and perform like and how much it should cost.

This is the thickest phone ever, almost as thick as a double decker sandwich. Big fat thick slow phone. Get the moto x style instead its way sleeker.

AnonD-403727, 08 Aug 2015It sucks 1gb ram, old CPU 410, old GPU better buy the Idol 3Yeah I felt that the review was trying to make it's performance over the 2nd generation seem like a substantial upgrade. In reality the 410 chipset is an overclocked 400 with 64 bit capabilities lol.

AnonD-381795, 06 Aug 2015Dude don't go for the Zenfone 2. I sold it a few days ago t... more" I had a very negative experience with it even if it worked fine and all"

That's a contradictory statement. Plus the majority of people who have the phone find the experience pleasing.

AnonD-276592, 06 Aug 2015Made in China is a deal breaker for me.Almost all devices are at the very least assembled in China, so Best Of Luck finding one that isn't. You'll need it.

main disadvantage is the lack of gyroscope and megnetometer(digital compass) sensors, while Moto G2 hv all that.. so hard luck in gaming and nevigation ..

Dear Motorola ur new moto g3 is not impressive .no hardware improvement all I can see is the water resistance added in the new edition . Come on grow up moto.nobody is gonna play moto g3 in the water though it has water resistance. U should have added much powerful processor instead of water resistance feature. Moto gen1 is an awesome fone and seems it will remain as one of the best among moto g family

The prizes in the Article are relevant for US only, the EU prize is much higher and starts at 250EUR, customized goes for more than 300EUR. Check motorola.de, motorola.fr, motorola.co.uk. When I asked for the difference, they pointed out different LTE frequencies, and that they won't provide any support for US bought devices.
