Moto G (3rd gen) review: Good as gold

06 August, 2015
It is hardly a surprise that the third generation Motorola Moto G is one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2015. After all, in less than two years after the first iteration of the smartphone (Moto G became the most successful phone in the company’s history) made its debut, the Moto G product family has successfully redefined what a budget Android handset should look, feel, and perform like and how much it should cost.

No he... moreNot every manufacturer ships a premium pair of IEMs. You see, it's like, when you buy a TV you do not always get all the cables that are supposed to go inside every port. They MIGHT give you some free goodies, but that's as far as they go. Some stores might offer you a discount or... some goodies, but you're actually buying just the product and not the accessories.

In the end...they're just, goodies. But of course, who doesn't likes to have some :D

                  Hi,guys.
I would like to ask you if this 1 gb of RAM would be sufficient for a modest everyday use of this phone, which in my case means calls, internet, photos, some applications and without any gaming at all?
I wonder if the device will be getting slow at some moments with this amount of RAM...
THanks for the answers in advance, have a nice day everybody :)

                      My choices

                      Moto G 3rd generation
                      Lenovk k3 note

Kindly suggest better overall package, reading about some kind of harmful radiations in k3 note, true ?

Good responsive touch and mobile shouldn't lag or hang.

Currently using Moto G 1st generation, pretty happy with its performance in last 18 months.

I am confused by the interest in this generation's Moto G. Its barey a step up over the previous LTE version, cost hasn't improved, its a big phone for a 5" screen....and with phones like the Idol 3 and Zenfone 2 being a little above the prive of the 1GB variety and a little below the 2 GB variety I just don't get it. Even the Blu Life One (2015) offers pretty much the same thing (Life One is smaller for the same size screen) for less money (way less if you picked it up at the $99 intro price).

When it was pretty much the only decent phone you could get at that price point (previous versions) I could see why there would be interest. But now?

So why the significant interest in the 3rd gen Moto G?

Undoubtedly its performance goes beyond expectations. No heating issue with good battery backup. Charging speed is also faster. Cant find a reason to hate it yet. In every aspect it gets A grade but the only issue is its headphone. Yes, they are not upto expectation and standard of moto g3 as a whole package. Sound quality of headphones is ordinary. It could have been better. Hope the manufactuter does something about this.

                                        2. Display - For it's price, it's excellent.

                                        3. Battery Backup - Excellent. One charge of 100% lasts full day. Practically, one recharge @day is enough.

                                        4. LTE is active on both SIMs.
