Boris, 14 Aug 2015Battery wear is a bit more complex than that.
Typically... moreI've already researched there is to research about best practices for batteries. If you look at my posts, I even mentioned optional charges between 40 to 80% can triple the battery cycles. I even put my charging with power timers, set to only charge like 1.5 hours before I wake up.
With a sealed battery, more hassle to keep it hold power more effectively. They really do degrade over time. Like my original Note 3 battery can only hold 50% capacity of what it used to first 3 months, after 1 and a half year.
What more for the masses who buy this without knowing or don't care at all about good charging habits. Best practice for me is to charge the extra battery separately with a desktop cradle charger.

Of course Samsung doesn't tell us a sealed battery is actually terrible option- they're more concerned with selling more because most people do not concern about proper charging practices.

Samsung Galaxy note is a flagship Android phone, designed and made by a flagship phone maker.
So what did they do??? Go back to 2012, and only provide a maximum 64 GB, and NO SD card, and a 3,000 mAh battery. My God!! What were they thinking?!?!
They really have blown it.

Anonymous, 14 Aug 2015hmm you must be a different anon, i was about to say how co... moreAre you calling me that anon person or abbreviation anonymous?
And where does "just about" mean the same as all?
So there is your first mistake or purposeful twist.
Obviously anyone I know with an iPhone doesn't use one. ...aduh......
I know and have met many more people with Androids. And majority of people I have every spoke with refuse to go the iPhone way.
And now another twist. So now because most people use an sd card it's only because they don't have a lot of internal space.
So I guess all the 16 and 32gb mid Rangers and flagship are being purposefully negated in the equation to suite your needs?

Yes the Note 4 screen is better than the iphone 6+
... morehave you ever seen/ used a current smartphone lasting even three days in usage, no because of which endurance ratings do not matter, what matters in on screen time ! as well as how device battery backup get affected when it fills up with apps, media !!
in both the cases iphones, Sony in general are the best in market, hell even One plus one with base CYanogen was a frugal beast ( firmware update messed it up )!

VJ, 14 Aug 2015Who told you that iPhone is for kids and old people. I work... moreGlitch free!!!!!???????????????
Lolololololololololol.
First off all. This is reality. There is no such thing.
Second of all...how is iOS's continual world lead of app crashes by large margins glitch free? Heck before they "fixed" iOS 8 they still had almost add 8 many app crashes as Android 2.3.
Try again?

The note 5 is pretty much a galaxy S6... moreHow do you know the battery life will be inferior? ?
And sorry. IPhone 6 using Samsung design elements is not the S6 looking like an iPhone. Try thinking before posting

DenisXD, 14 Aug 2015the best Camera (you know it's a sony camera sensor right? ... moreActually the S6 had many camera advantages over the G4 as well. Seems more like software slack from LG but non the less true.
And it may be Sony's sensor but it is still Samsung's lense, ISP, and software processing. And we have seen that Samsung's own sensors can be just as good or better too.
So try again?
So what if in 2016 the Exynos 7420 is outdated. In fact that would only probe their point more. You are so against then being right and Samsung being ahead that you have to come up with an argument even to the points you know toy can't argue.
The Exynos is the most advanced SoC in a phone at the moment. Plain and simple.
Again with the coming up with anything to side track or argue even the points you just can't because you are in so much denial.
Having or not having an SD slot has absolutely nothing to do with how good the internal memory is.
Right now their UFS 2.0 solid state based storage is the most advanced.
Wow. ....you are almost right for once! Design is very subjective. Although you ruin you almost being right by assuming everyone thinks the M9 looks best.
No...absolutely not. There is no question. What display you prefer is subjective. The advantages the S6 and Note 4 have in display that have display experts claim them as world's best are factual and objective. Period, end of story.
And you are seriously going to pull the"accurate" garbage?????
Considering that in their basic display mode they are basically the overall most accurate?????

most the people who buy sd cards buy them because they have to, next to no internal storage, anyone who runs apps , knows you put the apps you want to run smooth on the internal and your pics and videos on the sd card.

TheNeighbor, 14 Aug 2015Uni-bodied phones have more limitations/disadvantages becau... moreBattery wear is a bit more complex than that.
Typically a battery loses 75% of its capacity over 365-ish 100%->0%->100% cycles. There are some factors that affect this, like the wear is quicker when quick charging or the battery is stored in warm places (15 celsius is the most ideal, but 25 is still not too bad)
A less known fact, i think it's significance is huge in terms of prolonging battery life:
The battery wear is way quicker when the battery is nearly full or nearly empty. An extreme example: if you use your battery only in the 40%-60% range, you get about 1/25 (!) battery wear compared to 0-100% usage.
In practice I buy phones with good battery life, and if 1 day is all I need, I don't necessarily charge it full. Also I don't let it deplete too much - if I can do so. Nothing extreme here, all you typically need is 2-3 years lifetime anyway, not 20 :)
I won't quite sources, just google it if you want to verify this, this is a well researched topic.

AnonD-364786, 14 Aug 2015Better screen is highly debatable
Better battery - no .. ... moreLmfao! No. It is not debatable. The Note 4 has a better display. Period.
What type of display you prefer is your own preference.
But by objective factual advantages and as deemed by display experts the Note 4 and S6 have the world's best mobile displays. End of story.
As for battery. ..again. fact Note 4 is better in most cases.
And nice try with that size track. The Touchwiz Note UI is the most advanced phablet software.
And asking developers about developing apps for the 6 plus or Note 4 has nothing to do with that. It's a side track.
As well as in most cases the camera better. The video is definitely better. The speaker is better. The spend hands down is a huge advantage.
The Exynos variant even won a lot of benchmarks.
And on top of being way more advanced with newer abs more expensive technology south much more research and features in it and being proven to be better in most ways it still is more affordable because apple is only about scamming.

Anonymous, 14 Aug 2015and why do people keep saying the battery will die after 30... moreYou're no beget claiming it's only a monitory with the SD cards.
And that's bs because the note had specifically always been geared towards the power users.
And back to the minority. ...just about everyone I know or know of that has a phone has an sd card. ...everyone. ...everyone. ...did I say everyone? ??
So how is that a minority or only power users?
