Anonymous, 24 Aug 2015But it was not iPhone that ever started or lead the way for... moreRegardless, before iPhone 4, do you see Samsung making such glass looking built?? Nope. When was M7 released? 2013. iPhone 4? 2010. LG? What nice design does LG ever have? Nope. Sony Xperia Z? Released on 2013. Again, which OEM ever offered a nice premium looking Android phone before iPhone 4? None!
Now, even all the China brands Android are trying to hard to copy iPhone designs. Is just pathetic with the Android makers!

Actually it can record very very smooth motion 120fps video, and 4k too, shame that u wont have enough space for that.

And the iPhone design has always been copies of Samsung and LG devices. And now I guess you could say HTC too.

Pay more for data plan, pay for battery changing, pay for extra internal storage that i can't easily transfer in 1 sec to my next phone, lose cloud signal on the trip while downloading or trying to view my files, I really don't see the advantages, maybe I'm a fool I don't know...
And just in case, I'm not a samsung hater, but the opposite, I owned 4 Samsung devices in the last 2 years.

AnonD-430264, 24 Aug 2015Posting on the Note 5. For all the haters, it's a great pho... moreWhat, it loads your apps 5 seconds faster than Note 4? lol.. im glad you have the money to pay for inferior technology that took out all the pluses. I have never had an SD card fail on any phone before. And to be able to go camping and hot swap a battery, priceless. while other fools fiddle around with their 10 pound battery pack and cords.
Plus it must be nice to have unlimited money to afford a 15GB data plan, unfortunately the majority of us plebs dont.
I'm going with my "gut" too and avoiding this phone.. enjoy, until of course when the time comes when you drop it.. lol

Posting on the Note 5. For all the haters, it's a great phone. I've installed all my apps, put some music and imported all my pictures with plenty of space. Battery life is perfect, fast charging actually works.
This phone is fast, doesn't get hot (unless charging, it's as hot as any other phone). I've installed large programs and multitasked faster and more efficient than the Note 4; yep side by side tests.
No removable battery? Eh! No SD card? Those things fail too often and I've lost too many memories due to that so you can have it.
This phone does everything I'd ever need on the road being a traveler, entrepreneur and graphic artist. I access the PC on the road to transfer files I forgot, backup my files and media easily and data's no biggie since I bumped to the 15GB plan on AT&T.
Glad I stuck with my gut instead of going off comments and reviews. Nice little power player in my hands for my mobile needs. Anything else, that's why I have a laptop.

Akash, 23 Aug 2015Well you are one section of customers... But there are othe... moreC'mon.... Do you actually believe the BS are they sacrificing the SD card support for the faster internal memory?! If what you said is true, does Note 5 slows down when you plug in a USB 2.0 pen drive?? If not, why will having a microSD be slowing down the internal memory?
Furthermore, users can install apps on the faster internal memory for quicker apps loading, etc while having other multimedia files like movies files and mp3 on the SD card. I don't see why we need such fast internal memory for playing movies and musics. And if Touchwiz is slow, Samsung should trim their Touchewiz without the expense of removing external microSD support. I see HTC Sense are behaving so much better with the HTC phones are running on slower internal memory.
Also, having removal battery doesn't mean the phone has to be ugly. Is all about designs.
Face it. Samsung is just so trying to copy Apple. And fans like you are trying hard to defend Samsung for the stupid decisions.

dear @GSMARENA,
are you sure about the video file you linked to as 720@120 FPS named (gsmarena_003.mp4)
i watched it and no part of it seems to be in slow motion...
if i understand correctly, shooting at 120FBS will give you slow motion output!

Akash, 23 Aug 2015And check battery condition??? Who does that?? And apart fr... moreHave you ever wonder why all these brands are not having removable battery any more? Yes, for the premium look - because they all want to follow the steps of iPhone! Simple as that!
Note series is not meant to be premium. Is meant for power users, for productivity work. If you want premium, get the S series. Samsung should just keep Note series as they are - as there are consumers prefer to have removal battery as well as micro SD support.
What other companies are not offering doesn't mean that Samsung has to follow those stupid companies as well. Furthermore, Samsung is already having the premium S series, why mess with the Note series?

im not so sad about the SD slot... whats actually bothering me is the fact there is no 128 GB version!
now lets try to make some sense here...
about the people who raged about the battery and the SD slot.. to me im happy they were gone, ya know why? because they were changed by a better replacemnt!
the bettery now is wirelessly chared and much faster to be jucied up while on my note2 90 mins will barely give me 70% (being @ zero when is started)... plus now you have 10 mins of charge to last 4 hours on normal telephony usage!
lets go to the SD card slot... i will only whine about this if the SD cards are not the bottel necks when it comes to speed! why would i want some card (even the best class) that will seem to crawl compared to UFS 2.0
generally i like the note5 compared. compared to what i have its amazing.. ill just wait, samsung might come up with 128GB version.. or i can live with 64GB if the OS is lightly loaded.

Anonymous, 24 Aug 2015So you're leaving Samsung because... No support for externa... moreWhy hypocrites? That's his opinions and preferences. He WANTS the new Note 5 to have removable battery as well as micro SD. Since Note 5 has already lost its signature build, looking just like another iPhone, might as well he go and get a true iPhone?? What's wrong with that?
Not everyone is buying all these Samsung BS like you do - believing that having a USB flash drive sticking out from the phone is better than having a build-in card like the Note 4. Think about the servicing cost you need to fork out because the built-in battery is dying after the warranty period, vs just replacing the removable battery easily like the Note 4.

hashie, 23 Aug 2015I'm countinous user of note series I'm using note series si... moreSo you're leaving Samsung because... No support for external storage (even though you could stick a USB flash in it) and No removable battery (which is obviously beefy enough after reading all the reviews)...
And you're joining Apple because... support for up 512GB microSD and a battery that lasts for at least 10 days... right?
****** Hypocrites!!!

Akash, 23 Aug 2015Really thats the only pro you know about?? Speakers Lol... ... moreyeah right.. useful to you maybe.. but not for me..
this is the essence of diversity ( in case you don't live in that kind of world )..
why do you have to be so selfish with your comment on almost everybody else that critics this N5 ???
can you just see that others might just have seen it at the other way ???
just for your note :
as #1 cellphone manufacturer, THEY can do better ( but they choose not to do it )..
