Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ review: Starborn

28 August, 2015
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, as its name suggests, is the bigger and flashier sibling of the SM-G925 smartphone that dazzled the world with its dual-curve display a few months ago. The newcomer is aimed at users who want a premium phablet, but don’t covet the S Pen of the Samsung Galaxy Note5 that debuted alongside it.

You must not have seen the S6 Edge drop tests. It was a beast. In many it took 10 foot drops a couple times to get a good amount of damage.
And it still was not as bad as iphone and others that were smashed.

Obviously in the end any glass can break with the slightest drop if it hits just right and its all a game of chance.

[deleted post]Maybe you should learn to read before putting your foot in your mouth about being smart.
It was a smarta.. reply to a question. They asked whether or not they had the same hardware for input of the pen or not. And whether it had been tried or not. That they checked a few things online and came up with no difinitive answer.

So yes...They don't understand the tech very well obviously and could have done further research.

But the neighbors response was just a know it all one contradicting and even rudely adding things in from no where.
And they tend to be known for know it all things like that.

Maybe not everyone here....or in the world....has the same level of tech knowledge as you two, or even me....Grow up maybe?

You gotta love all the damage the S6 Edge "premium metal body" has after a couple of months in the picture gallery when its sized next to the Note 5 and S6E+.
Gotta love all you stupid "metal" grupies. Yay for such a damage prone design, with a tiny battery and tinny storage.
Plastic still is a million times better.

I just got rid of my S6 Edge and got the Note 5.

Initially the curved screen seemed exciting, but after some use, it's just a curved screen and it get in the way and annoying. It's design with no purpose and it in fact interferes with normal use, because it distorts the edges of the contents on screen.

After a while, the shiny, curved design also starts looking a bit chintzy and tacky, sitting next to my iPhone 6+.

I am now much happier with the Note 5.

don't say moto x style offers lower hardware. Who wants a heart rate sensor. There is no real world difference between S808 and 7420. And man stock android is way better than touchwiz.

There is OTG dongles of 32Gb to 128Gb to choose from I don't see what is the issue. There are very good powerbanks like the lithium ion type by Prolink which cost a mere USD30 for 8000mAh that could recharge the S6 Edge three times in one recharge cycle, I don't see what is the problem with critics.
