Oppo R7 Plus review: Monster truck

11 September, 2015
Bezelless it was going to be, the first of its kind, but the Oppo R7 Plus didn’t quite live to the promised edge-to-edge display. Yet, you’d be foolish to dismiss it on those grounds alone, as there’s so more to a smartphone than the size of its frame.

AnonD-142922, 12 Sep 2015But STILL that nfc is useless because google not doing anyt... moreNo so
There are plenty of credit card and banking apps that make use of NFC payment - even here in Canada (sadly, usually the last place on earth to receive anything tech wise!). In the London England they're using it to pay for travel on the underground trains. Tap touch machines are becoming way more common.
I'm sorry if you live in a part of the world where this isn't the case.

They are using an amoled panel that isn't anywhere near as efficient as the one on the note 4. This must be no better than a note 2 amoled tech if it can't really beat the note 4 battery life despite having 4100mah and only 1080p.

          AnonD-142922, 12 Sep 2015Is it better than Mate 7 ? I don't think so ..I think it is.
          +dual sim
          + 3GB ram vs 2GB
+better overall battery (standby time, call and video 18h!)
          +better camera
          +more storage 16 vs 32
          +screen outdoor performance is better

          - no nfc
          -more expenisive
-limited service and so far you cant buy it (sold out in oppo style (only gold version available :( ))
          compared EU version of phones

I stopped caring, when they said the word OPPO.
This is the same lying a** company that produces the OnePlus phones.
            Wouldn't give them a penny.

Oppo R7 Plus better in some aspect vs Sony Xperia C5 Ultra. However, the latter is a lot cheaper than this Chinese pricey brand.

The battery life could've been better. Poor optimization on Oppo's part.

Without having FM feature and limiting dual sim feature by Memory card.
Oppo will not succeeded in Indian Market.
                          And also overpriced..

Not a bad phone in my opinion. Not bad at all. That battery life is impressive.

I think OPPO is going down the trend, I'm here in Beijing and I hardly see any people using OPPO anymore. Find 5 and Find 7 used to make a breakthrough, but what is this crap? People here are shifting to Coolpad and Huawei (and Xiaomi too). They need to release a new flagship sooner or later.
