LG tried to mitigate this by disabling all animations in the latest update... The UI is just as laggy as my old 2012 N7 (5.1.1). Maybe lg tried to cap the fps to save some power? And no, it isn't the QHD display that pushes the GPU, AOSP roms for example are very smooth and responsive.
Stock android won't stutter even on snapdragon 200 phones. Android skins f*** everything up and people thinking samdung=android with their lagwiz doesn't help.

Apart from the occational stutter while swiping app drawer. It doesn't even require great amount of continuous tuning to make it stay quick. If < 5 minutes a month is all I have to spend to keep my phone run fast, I might as well save the 300 extra dollars and spend those 5 minutes away. And the Z's chipset is nowhere near the specs of the more recent devices. Android flagships do slow down a bit, only a bit. They don't hurt the phone so bad that it ruins your experience altogether.
IMO, the lag argument by ifans is as bad as the 8 mp pixel camera of the iPhone 6 argument by Android fans.

True. LG G4, Note 5, Z5, iPhone all of these gives excellent image quality that you can't see a different.

I also cover some events like children's party, 50th bday etc. tho I use a dslr and not a phone, so in my case I still can't say I'll be satisfied. Personally I think there will still be the best one/s. There'll be good and there'll be the best, and tests are there to confirm objectively. I would agree w/ what you've said that there are instances where a camphone will perform at its best. But to me I want something to be flexible in any situation. I'm not expecting a pro grade outputs fr. camphones, but at least the best my money can buy. Again, thanks for the link! I'll try to access it.

Every smartphone cams have their own problems. Some phones give better shots in some situations and some in others, There isn't such a thing called best phone cam in market, it depends what you shoot. I shoot lot of gig and concerts and the quality of iPhone cam have blew my mind in that area.

I'm too, so what's wrong with 6s plus cam? it's actually meant for photographers, it takes very natural looking pictures and it gives you great shots almost everytime. It doesn't oversharp or oversature images, photos looks very good and are easy to edit to look even better.
So again what's wrong with cam?

Well he have own mostly android phones, most android users aren't happy with their device so they are spreading those bad feelings in Apple news month after months, we all know that.

The new A9 with only 2 cores has excellent power efficiency without any bull**** octa or deca core architecture and low-mid-high power cores.
Even on android, higher core counts hurt the performance. Android itself will not use more than 2 cores except for very trivial tasks (like rotating the screen) plus multi-threading is hard and many app developers will not do it.
4 cores are more than enough, so please stop with the 8/10/100 core setups....
At least Qualcomm gets it if the rumors about 820 are true and it is indeed quad core.

There are no reports of lag with the S6, S6 Active and S6 Edge +
These devices are currently the fastest and best in Android.
Benchmarks are only there to compare devices against each other with a visible and quantifiable outcome. However, this is on 85% accurate and does NOT represent actual use at 100%
Actual use would always differ for each individual as each has their own lifestyle and way of use. This is the reason why you will always question if the Smartphone you have is fit for your own use and lifestyle.
If you have the money to spend and only use your phone for games, media and cam shots here and there, then iPhone is good enough for you.
However, if you want to specialize more on a certain area such as photo editting, multitasking, Android is better.
If you want to use phone for business and presentation (i.e. usage of MS tools and documents), the new Windows 10 for Mobile will be better once its out.

The performance of its predecessors proved to be a popular money-making machine that Google upped its marketing.

Don't forget to mention that the battery, no matter how much they optimized it, is NOT at par with the price we pay and NOT the best around.
It is a good device... too bad it's overpriced.

For years, the audio recording is still in mono sound. I'm a photog. enthusiast that's why cam matters to me a lot. It's not even waterproof. Personally, it's alright with me to pay for a high price tag, but considering the iPhone's offering? Well there's actually a lot there that are much more worthy of our money. I was considering the 6s bros. as an upgrade, but it puzzles me a bit when I tried to compare all the top phones today. Yes this one's fast, though we don't pay only for the chipset.

It did not come even close to the benchmark performance in GSM arena, and much more in real life... you have ur best of the best android phone but it won't last for a yr..it will lag in 3-5 months. Hahaha
I rather pay a high price phone that will satisfy me than buying a cheap phone that will give me head ache in return...
That mediocore phone you said it outperformed your best of the best Lagdroid phone you have..
