This is what happens when some uneducated guy writes an article.
"Phase-detection autofocus" is available in Samsung models from S5-era. I didn't even read any other pages when so-called tech writers make such basic mistakes. I wonder where they got their jounalism degree from.
"Heart rate and oxygen saturation sensors" are not something to be mentioned as positives. They are gimmicks, same as 3D Touch. Samsung had "Air View" in past, which was again similar - uselsss.

I got rid of my S6 Edge after a few weeks. It overheated and lagged too often, I grew to hate the curved screen, which is nothing but a gimmick, and hated the ergonomics of the Edge without a cover. The Edge, at least in the champagne color, looks chintzy, if not outright tacky.
Now I have a Note 5 and the ergonomics are better, it doesn't seem to heat up or lag as much. Sometimes screen sensitivity is hit or miss, especially the upper left corner of the screen.
Speaking of fingerprint sensor, I have been locked out by the Note 5 twice. It will stop accepting any of the stored fingerprints, and it will not accept the back up password. I had to get home and unlock the phone with my Gmail account. A web search indicates that this is a fairly common problem.
I really do like the camera on the Note 5, for some reason it seems better than the s6 Edge, despite being the same hardware. The S6 Edge camera seemed to have trouble focusing in less that bright conditions, but the Note 5 seems better. My old iPhone 6+ focuses faster and better than either.
Overall, if I had to recommend a phone to someone, I would probably recommend the iPhone, because it has better balance and it's better designed, overall. I am getting mine next week.

So, to summrize, S6 is the winner. Awesome! Apple can break sales record while S6 users have overall better phone/camera. ;)

Considering the Note's screen is bigger those bezels on the iPhone look gargantuan - would give Sony a run for their money!

People changing from samsung to apple? well yeah that's nice, people can try new things
and do whatever they want. Also, apple has some Pro's as well. but that doesn't change the fact that samsung does better in the majority of sections. and that's what has been proven here.
Even though I like them both, they're not even in the same league. 11-3 is not even balanced.

iPhone 6 s plus still better especially in terms of performance. But S6 edge plus better than note 5 more brighter screen and a tad better performance than note 5 I try out all these 3 phones.

In regards to video recording. Take both to a loud concert and see what sounds better. Nobody ever touches that point. Apple slaughters Samsung in quality.

If Edge + can beat 6S Plus.
Note 5, is even better!

One of the best and most honest review anyone can get on net. Gsmarena is best. BTW recently switched from iPhone to s6 edge. I was really sceptical about android as I felt they lag and all but s6 has been superb and it's been almost 2 months now. I got bored of iphone interface and switched after 3 years. Happy for now.
